Jeff Carter scored his team leading 25th goal of the year in a 3-2 overtime loss to Anaheim on Wednesday.
The Kings have struggled to score goals down the stretch but that hasn't applied to Carter personally who has seven goals in nine games. It is the seventh time in 10 seasons that Carter has hit the 25 goal mark. Needless to say, he is a fantasy star just about every year. Justin Williams scored the other goal for LA in a losing cause. Jeff Carter notched a power-play goal for the Kings in their 2-1 loss to the Predators on Saturday night.

Carter tickled the twine at 7:44 of the first period, to give the Kings a lead that would last for two periods. He has three goals over his past five games. The goal gives him more points (51) than he had last season, and the most he’s recorded since 2010-11 when he posted 66 with the Flyers. Andrej Sekera and Drew Doughty got the assists.

Carter found the back of the net in the Kings' 4-3 shootout victory against Montreal on Thursday. He has 22 goals and 50 points in 64 games this season.

Carter got the Kings on the board at the 7:18 mark of the second period and he added another goal late in the third period. The 30-year-old has 20 goals and 48 points in 62 games this season. He has hit the 20-goal mark for the ninth time in his NHL career. Tyler Toffoli assisted on both of Carter's goals.

Carter has been on an absolute tear of late with four goals and five assists in the last five games that has coincided with this Kings' winning streak. He has 18 goals and 27 assists to lead the team with 45 points in 57 games. Tyler Toffoli and Dustin Brown each added a goal in the win.

Carter finished off a pretty pass Drew Doughty found him with as Carter streaked the right side, sending the eventual winner over Andrei Vasilevskiy's left shoulder. Carter now has 16 goals, three winners, and 43 points through 56 games this season.

Carter now has 270 goals and 231 assists in 690 career games. In parts of four seasons with Los Angeles, Carter has scored 74 goals and 133 points in 190 contests. He's been a big part of the Kings' two Stanley Cup championships and at the age of 30, he should have several more productive seasons left in him.

Jeff Carter recorded a trio of assists in LA's big 5-3 win over Calgary on Thursday night.

While none of the sauce Carter threw around resulted in a goal, he did perfectly set up Dwight King in the slot to put the Kings up 3-2 in the opening minute of the third period. Though perhaps most remarkably he hooked Flames' defenseman Kris Russel's stick out of Tyler Toffoli's path as he flew by, directly leading to the game's opening tally. Carter now has 26 assists and a team-leading 41 points in 54 games.

Jeff Carter has temporarily left the Kings to attend a funeral.

Carter missed Wednesday's practice, but he should be back in time for Thursday's game as long as the weather doesn't become a factor. Our condolences to Carter and his family.

Jeff Carter scored a goal and added an assist in the Los Angeles Kings' 4-3 victory over the Blue Jackets in Columbus Monday night.

Carter recorded his 23rd assist of the season on Dwight King's eighth goal of the season at 2:12 of the first period. That tied the game at 1-1. Carter scored his 15th goal of the season to give the Kings a 3-1 lead at 15:34 of the second period. Tyler Toffoli also scored for the Kings, his fifth of the season. King drew an assist on Toffoli's goal, his ninth assist of the season. Dustin Brown netted the Kings' fourth goal of the night, his ninth of the season.

Jeff Carter scored twice and added an assist to lead to the LA Kings to a 4-3 win over Chicago on Wednesday.

Carter sniped two shots past Blackhawks' goalie Corey Crawford for his 13th and 14th goals of the campaign. He now has three goals in two games after going six straight without finding the back of the net. Carter has 36 points in 48 games this season. Jake Muzzin and Tyler Toffoli were credited with the other two goals while Anze Kopitar picked up two helpers.

Carter found the back of the net with 23 seconds left in regulation time to make the game 3-2 San Jose. That gave the Kings a fighting chance, but they couldn't build on it and ultimately the Sharks finished the contest with an empty-net goal. Carter has 12 markers and 33 points in 47 games this season.

Jeff Carter has lost both his linemates in the last two days.

Carter had been playing with Tyler Toffoli and Tanner Pearson but both are now out as Toffoli has mononucleosis while Pearson broke his ankle during Saturday's game. His linemates at the end of the game were Mike Richards and Dwight King.
