Jeff Carter was on the right wing with Vincent Lecavalier at center and Tanner Pearson on the left side during Tuesday's morning session.

The trio is expected to start against Dallas tonight. "Trying to get some guys going,"coach Darryl Sutter said. "[Carter] and Tanner play together lots. We need to get some more out some other guys."

Carter opened the scoring at the 18:37 mark of the first period, and he added an assist on Vincent Lecavalier's power play goal in the second. The Kings will be disappointed to let this one slip away as they were up 3-1 in the third period. Carter has 13 goals and 18 assists in 38 games.

Carter leads the Kings in points with 26 in 28 games. Carter has 11 goals and his plus-15 rating gives him plenty of value in traditional pools. He is a must start for poolies when the Kings are in action.

Jeff Carter scored the tying going with under two minutes to play in a 3-2 overtime win against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday.

Carter now has a team leading 26 points in 27 games. He is really having himself a remarkable season, and should push for at least 30 goals. Start him every night the Kings play.
