Jeff Carter picked up his 10th goal of the season, a power-play marker, in Monday's 3-0 win against Calgary.

Carter has posted five power-play goals overall on the season, and he has 10 goals with four assists over the past 15 contests to endear himself to fantasy owners. After missing a huge chunk of the season due to a cut tendon in his ankle earlier in the season, he is making up for lost time and serving as a must-start fantasy option yet again.

Jeff Carter scored a pair of goals in Monday's 4-3 OT win over the Minnesota Wild.

Carter's power-play tally in the second period extended Los Angeles' lead to 2-0 at the time. He then scored the game-winning goal late in overtime. The Kings forward finished the game with a plus-2 rating, five shots on goal and one hit in 19:00 of ice time. The 33-year-old has is up to eight goals and five assists in 18 games this season. Tanner Pearson and Dustin Brown also found the back of the net during Monday's victory.

He has picked up six goals and eight points across the past eight outings, including three power-play markers and one assist on the man advantage. The buy-low window remains open, as he is available in more than two-thirds of most fantasy leagues. He could help nicely in your playoff push, but act quickly.

Carter just got enough of the puck off a rebound the get it over the line with just under five minutes in the first period to open the scoring. Since returning from his long absence due to an ankle injury, the 33-year-old forward has picked up five points in six games, bringing him to four goals and eight points in 12 games this season. He's available in 27% of Yahoo leagues and should definitely be scooped up for your playoff push.

Los Angeles' current trip will conclude with a game against Winnipeg on Feb. 20. Carter hasn't been able to play since Oct. 18 due to the injury. There isn't much time left in the 2017-18 campaign, but it would be a big boost for the Kings if they can get him back in time for their final push for a playoff spot.
