Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau thinks Ryan Getzlaf should be in the running for the Hart Trophy.
"I certainly would vote for him, but at the same time, the Canadian media – and there’s a little more of them – will be going for Carey Price," Boudreau said. "If I'm looking at what we've done, what we've accomplished, who our leader is every night then Ryan Getzlaf is the guy." Statistically, Getzlaf is a hard sell. He has 24 goals and 68 points in 75 games, which is certainly good, but there are 11 forwards with more points than him. In addition to Price, Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby, and John Tavares are among those that are serious contenders for the award. Apr 1 - 9:01 AM

Ryan Getzlaf vows that the Anaheim Ducks will bounce back following Tuesday's 5-3 loss to Columbus.

Within our locker room, we're going to change it." Anaheim has already essentially secured the top seed in the Pacific Division, so at this point the squad is mostly focused on simply ending the season on a high note so that they can carry that momentum into the playoffs.
