Ryan Getzlaf scored his fourth of the season Friday night.

After Sami Vatanen's one-timer atop the slot was blocked by Brandon McMillan, it fortunately stayed near his stick and walked around the downed defender to make a sparkling pass to Getzlaf..for his own one-timer. And the goal. Talk about insult to injury for McMillan. Getzlaf now shares the team lead in points with Corey Perry at 15.

Tough break for fantasy owners and the Ducks as the decision was made shortly before game-time and left little time for replacements. Line-mate Corey Perry also missed the game with the flu bug as well. Hopefully it's just a 24 hour virus and the Ducks top scorers will be back for Friday's tilt with Arizona.

Ryan Getzlaf was not at all happy with the way the Anaheim Ducks came out to play Game 7.

Game 7 against the Los Angeles Kings was a home game for the Ducks but they were totally outplayed by the Kings who scored three times in the first. "This whole thing, it's a bitter pill," Getzlaf said. "To come out and let them get that lead ... I lay a lot of that on our shoulders. Things that we need to do differently. Nerves got us a little bit. Pucks were bouncing around a little bit and they were capitalizing. When they come out with a 3-0 lead, you're probably not going to beat a team like the Kings." It was the second straight year that the Ducks lost a Game 7 at home. Changes will be made and most likely in goal where UFA to be, Jonas Hiller, is not expected to be re-signed.

But it's not all about me. I'm not going to go out and win Game 3 by myself, that's for sure. The story of our season has been our depth in our lineup, and we need everybody pushing from top to bottom, all the way through. We all need to be better." He has a team-leading 10 points in seven playoff games.
