Corey Perry scored a goal at the 15:04 minute mark of the second period of the Anaheim Ducks 6-1 victory Wednesday night over the Nashville Predators and took sole possession of third-place on the Ducks’ all-time list.
Perry failed in his bid to reach that mark Tuesday night again the Sharks after scoring two points on a goal and an assist two nights earlier against the Canucks. Perry now has six points for the season. He was tied with Paul Kariya and trails Teemu Selanne and Ryan Getzlaf in first and second respectively. Oct 27 - 1:19 AM

Corey Perry scored once and added an assist Sunday.

Perry now has 669 career points and he has tied Paul Kariya for third place on the all-time Ducks list. He now trails the first place Teemu Selanne and his linemate Ryan Getzlaf. Perry now has three goals and five points in six games. Look for a 35 goal, 65-70 point season from the talented winger.
Oct 24 - 7:15 AM

Corey Perry scored in Thursday's 3-2 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

Ducks forward Chris Wagner opened the scoring in the game, but the Flyers answered with back-to-back goals in the second period to take a 2-1 lead. That's when Perry found the back of the net. The 31-year-old has picked up points in back-to-back games. He has two goals and one assist in five games this season. Expect Perry to finish the season with over 30 goals. Ryan Garbutt scored the game-winning goal for Anaheim.
Oct 20 - 10:25 PM

Corey Perry had an assist in Anaheim's 2-1 loss to the New Jersey Devils Tuesday night.

Perry also recorded seven shots on goal, but wasn't able to find the back of the net. He now has one goal and two points in four games this season.
Oct 19 - 8:09 AM

Corey Perry scored his first goal of the season at the 10:27 minute mark of Saturday night’s contest, but it was not enough to help as the Anaheim Ducks dropped the 3-2 contest to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Ryan Getzlaf earned his second assist of the season on this goal. In 14 games against the Penguins, Perry has now averaged almost one goal per meeting bringing his total to 13. Last year Perry scored 34 goals in 82 games with the Ducks, but still his productivity paled in comparison to 2014-15 when he had an almost equal number of 33 in 67 games.
Oct 16 - 10:03 AM

Corey Perry knows there's a growing sense of urgency for the Anaheim Ducks to succeed in the playoffs.

"The window is closing," Perry said. "We’re not getting any younger. We’re not going to play until we’re 70. It’s do or die. Each year goes by and you haven’t won, it gets smaller and smaller." The Ducks are primarily led by Perry and Ryan Getzlaf, who are both 31. That's not terribly old, but it is true that with every passing year it becomes less likely that they'll be able to lead Anaheim to a Stanley Cup. It is important that Perry and Getzlaf are in those leadership roles too as they'll be consuming $16.5 million of Anaheim's cap annually through 2020-21.
Oct 13 - 9:50 AM

Corey Perry scored with 3:47 left in overtime to lift the Anaheim Ducks past the San Jose Sharks in the preseason finale on Sunday night.

Perry's second goal of the preseason came against the same team he scored his first against. The 31-year-old has not scored less than 33 goals in a full season since 2010, so it's a safe bet the recent World Cup champion will pot 30 or more this year.
Oct 10 - 1:30 AM

Corey Perry scored the Anaheim Duck’s first goal in Wednesday night’s preseason 2-0 victory over the San Jose Sharks.

Perry returned to the ice with the Ducks after representing Team Canada in the World Cup of Hockey, so he does not need the time to limber up. Still, he played 19:40 minutes and recorded his goal at the 7:42 minute mark of the second period. Joseph Cramarossa scored the Ducks' insurance goal at the 9:15 minute mark of the second.
Oct 6 - 1:21 AM

Look for Corey Perry to play in two preseason games.

Perry has already gotten plenty of work in thanks to his time with Team Canada in the World Cup. With that in mind, it might be more accurate to look at those exhibition games as an exercise in attempting to maintain that momentum rather than prep for the season. Either way, he's most likely to play on Wednesday and Sunday.
Oct 4 - 4:34 AM

Corey Perry registered two assists in Team Canada's 5-2 win over Team USA in exhibition play on Saturday.

Perry was added to Canada's roster to replace the injured Jeff Carter. In addition to it being an opportunity for him to represent his country, this is also allowing him to play at a high level with Ducks teammate Ryan Getzlaf ahead of the start of the season. That might allow them to hit the ground running in 2016-17.
Sep 12 - 11:06 AM

Corey Perry has been added to Team Canada's roster for the World Cup of Hockey.

Perry will take injured forward Jeff Carter's spot on the roster. The 31-year-old scored 34 goals and 62 points in 82 games with the Anaheim Ducks last season. Perry won gold medals with Canada at the 2010 and 2014 Olympic games in Vancouver and Sochi. After the Ducks were eliminated in the first round of the 2016 playoffs, Perry went over to the World Championship and won gold there too.
Sep 2 - 5:51 PM

Corey Perry wasn't selected to be on Team Canada's World Cup roster.

Perry has represented Canada at every major international tournament including the World Junior Championship, the World Cup, the World Championships and the Olympics. Perry recently became the 27th member of the "Triple Gold Club" (Stanley Cup, World Championships, Olympics). The 31-year-old had 34 goals and 62 points in 82 games during the 2015-16 season.
May 27 - 9:35 PM

Corey Perry joined the "Triple Gold Club" over the weekend.

He captained Canada to a gold medal at the 2016 World Championship, while contributing four goals and nine points in 10 games. The club, which now has 27 members, have won a World Championship title, an Olympic gold medal and a Stanley Cup.
May 23 - 12:52 PM

Corey Perry notched a goal and an assist in Canada's 4-0 win over France at the 2016 World Championship.

Canada and Finland will meet on Tuesday in preliminary round action to decide who gets first place in Group B. Perry has recorded four goals and eight points in six games at the tournament so far. Calvin Pickard made 13 stops for the shutout.
May 16 - 4:38 PM

Corey Perry will serve as the captain for Team Canada in the 2016 World Championships.

This is a chance for Perry to enter the summer on a high note after his disappointing 2016 playoff run. He had no goals and four assists in seven playoff games as his Anaheim Ducks were eliminated in the first round. Matt Duchene and Ryan O'Reilly will both wear the 'A'.
