Corey Perry is skating with his Ducks' teammates on Sunday.

Perry has been out since December 7th because of a knee injury. He will be a welcomed addition to Anaheim's lineup. The sniper has scored an impressive 14 goals in 23 games this season. Originally, he was expected back in late December or early January. He was not skating on a particular line during line rushes.
Dec 21 - 1:30 PM

Corey Perry (knee) is hoping to start skating on the weekend according to coach Bruce Boudreau.

Don't expect to see Perry back before Christmas and just how long after Christmas is still up in the air but he is getting close. The stud winger has had a tough go of it lately with the knee injury on December 5 and picking up the mumps earlier. Nevertheless, Perry has 14 goals and 22 points in 23 games and remains a top-five fantasy player when healthy.
Dec 20 - 6:47 AM

Corey Perry is expected to miss three-to-four weeks with a knee sprain.

This is shaping up to be a tough luck season for Perry. He's already missed time this season from the mumps of all things and he's back on the sidelines less than a month after his return. He's been great when healthy though with 14 goals and 22 points in 23 games.
Dec 9 - 2:16 PM

Although Corey Perry (knee) was examined on Monday, the Ducks didn't immediately have an update on his condition.

"I don’t know what we'll know (Tuesday), but we should know more than we know today," Coach Bruce Boudreau said on Monday. "I don't want to pre-judge and say he looks good or he looks bad or anything." Perry sustained the injury on Friday. He has 14 goals and 22 points in 23 games this season.
Dec 9 - 9:59 AM

Corey Perry (knee) will get an MRI when the Ducks return to Anaheim and will not be in the lineup Sunday in Winnipeg.

Perry suffered a left knee injury Friday when he was hit by the Wild's Keith Ballard. "It’s going to take some time to heal," Perry said. "Just one of those things. I’ve done it to the other leg before and kind of know what to do and where we’re at." Consider the star winger day-to-day for now but a better determination will occur once the results of the MRI are determined. Reserve him for now.
Dec 7 - 3:42 AM

Corey Perry suffered a knee injury on Friday when he was submarined by Keith Ballard of the Wild.

The incident happened in the first period and Perry did not return. There may be good news as Perry will accompany the Ducks to Winnipeg where the two teams meet on Sunday, rather than return to Anaheim and he will be re-evaluated there. Coach Bruce Boudreau thought the hit was similar to the one that put Patrick Maroon out of action for 17 days early in the season but we will not speculate at this time. There should be an update in the next 48 hours. Perry is a top-three all-round fantasy player and any sort of games missed is bound to hurt your squad.
Dec 6 - 4:36 AM

Corey Perry suffered a lower body injury during the first period Friday night against Minnesota.

Keith Ballard submarined Perry as he tried to make his way deeper into the Wild's zone. It appeared that Perry's left leg took the brunt of the hit, and had to be helped off the ice. Perry had played just 2:20 in the game. We'll keep you posted on his status.
Dec 5 - 8:42 PM

Corey Perry had two assists in Anaheim's 5-4 shootout win over Philadelphia.

Perry got off to a bit of a slow start - at least by his high standards - after returning from the mumps, but he's been hot lately. He has 14 goals and 22 points in 22 games this season.
Dec 4 - 8:36 AM

Corey Perry scored twice and added an assist, but they weren’t enough in the Ducks’ 6-4 loss to the Sharks on Saturday night.

Perry, one of the game’s most dominant power forwards, now has 14 goals and 20 points this season. There are very few players you want on your team this season as Perry can put up the points and accumulate penalty minutes, too. Ryan Getzlaf enjoyed a three-point night with a goal and two helpers. Matt Beleskey potted the other goal.
Nov 30 - 1:39 AM

Corey Perry had an assist in Anaheim's 4-3 shootout win on Thursday.

It was Perry's first point since he returned from the mumps on Nov. 16. His time on the sidelines seems to have disrupted his early season hot streak, but it shouldn't be long before he starts finding the back of the net again.
Nov 21 - 9:49 AM

Corey Perry (mumps) is taking part in the Ducks' warmup and will play on Sunday night.

The 29-year-old sniper is returning to the lineup after missing five games because of the illness. Perry has 11 goals and 15 points in 13 games this season. He is an elite fantasy option and needs to be in your lineup.
Nov 16 - 8:00 PM

Corey Perry (mumps) will be a game-time decision on Sunday.

Coach Bruce Boudreau hinted that Perry does not need a practice to get back into the lineup. Stay tuned.
Nov 16 - 7:15 PM

Corey Perry (mumps) is questionable for the Ducks trip to Calgary and Vancouver on Tuesday and Thursday.

While Perry has fully recovered from the mumps and is now allowed to be back with his teammates, he will likely miss Sunday's game against Florida. Coach Bruce Boudreau stated that he would be surprised if Perry was able to make the upcoming trip to Western Canada so it is more likely that the November 23 game in Anaheim versus Arizona will be Perry's return to action.
Nov 16 - 3:22 AM

Corey Perry (mumps) has been given the green light to be around the Ducks again.

Perry skated on his own Thursday as he works to rebuild his strength. There's a chance he'll return on Saturday or Sunday, but it's more likely that he'll be back next week.
