Corey Perry pushed his Anaheim Ducks past their rival LA Kings with the eventual game-winning, and insurance goals in the third period.
Perry topped off what turned out to be four unanswered tallies by the Ducks to take the game 4-2. His first goal came off a creative lofted backhanded pass from Ryan Getzlaf, beating Martin Jones in tight with a quick strike. Corey Perry registered a team high five shots and four hits in a 3-0 loss to Ottawa on Wednesday.

The Ducks were out-shot 33-25 on the night by a road tripping Ottawa Senators team. It snapped a three game winning streak for the Ducks in ugly fashion. Perry has just one goal in nine games and will need to pick it up if Anaheim is going to get one of the top three seeds in the ever tightening Western conference.

It was not the best of games for Perry who failed to get a shot on goal. He has been split from Ryan Getzlaf for the last two games and while he had an assist in the first game, he was a minus-one against the Oilers Saturday. He has 24 goals and 41 points in 45 games with a plus-13 with 47 penalty minutes.

Anaheim has lost five of its last six games, so Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau is looking for ways to jump start his team. Breaking up Ryan Getzlaf and Perry might accomplish that goal, but it would almost certainly be a short-term change as the duo has excelled on the top line together all season. Still, if Perry gets some playing time on the second line, then that will be to Ryan Kesler's benefit.

Perry has four goals in those three games and he is also on a four-game point streak. The 29-year-old has collected 15 points in his last 15 games since returning from a knee injury in late December. He is an elite fantasy option going forward.

Corey Perry scored twice and added an assist on the game winning goal in OT to help lift Anaheim past Carolina 5-4 on Tuesday.

The goals were his team leading 20th and 21st for arguably the best left-winger in the game. He had seven shots on net and was a plus-2 on the evening. He now has 35 points in 36 games and would be near the top of NHL scoring if it weren't some injuries earlier this season. Ryan Getzlaf scored the game winner in OT and added an assist on one of Perry's goals. Devante Smith-Pelly and Ryan Kesler scored the other goals.

Corey Perry picked up two assists in the Ducks 6-3 win over Calgary on Wednesday.

Perry was one of three Ducks to get multiple-point nights. The goal scoring was spread out however among six different Anaheim players. Ryan Getzlaf, Ryan Kesler, Ben Lovejoy, Kyle Palmieri, Tim Jackman and Patrick Maroon all found the back of the net once in another goal explosion for the NHL's top team. Perry goes into the All-Star break with 31 points in 32 games.

Corey Perry scored his 19th goal of the season in Anaheim's 5-1 win over New Jersey on Friday night.

The goal was rather accidental, as Perry was trying to set up Patrick Maroon for the tip-in. Instead Cory Schneider accidentally mishandled the interception and put it behind himself to give the Ducks a 1-0 lead. Perry now leads the team in goals with 19 and has 28 points on the season.

Corey Perry scored the natural hat-trick to lead the Ducks to a 4-0 win over Toronto on Wednesday.

The first line for Anaheim was buzzing all around the Toronto goal in this game and Perry really could have had four or five. Owners will take it though as Perry has been a little snake bitten due to injuries and the mumps. Perry still has 27 points in 29 games this campaign thanks to three hat-tricks. Ryan Getzlaf drew two helpers while Kyle Palmieri started the scoring for the Ducks.

The goal was Perry’s first since November 29th. He did miss 10 straight games in December because of a knee injury. The Ducks were down by a goal with just over two minutes remaining when Francois Beauchemin tied the game and forced overtime. Perry has 15 goals and 23 points in 26 games this season. Matt Beleskey also scored in regulation, while Ryan Kesler scored the winning goal in the shootout.

Perry missed 10 straight contests due to the ailment. "First game back is always a test," Perry said. "The legs felt OK. Knee felt fine. It was just a matter of getting back into the swing of things." He had a minus-two rating in 16:21 minutes of ice time in a 3-0 loss.
