John-Michael Liles, who was a healthy scratch for Games 2-4 of the first round series against the Bruins, played well in his return to the lineup in Game 5.
He got the chance to play due to the injury to Mark Fraser and was steady during his 14:31 of ice time with a plus one rating. We are not recommeding you rush to add Liles to your playoff pool roster but he if you are desparate for a post-season defenceman, you could do worse. May 11 - 9:47 AM

John-Michael Liles isn't going to complain despite spending four straight games in the press box.

"I'm going to do whatever it takes to help this team win," Liles said. "And when I get the chance to get back in there, it's up to me to show them that I belong in there. I've been around long enough to see this happen to other guys. I saw the way they helped their teammates while they were going through it. And I think I can help the younger guys too.
