Jack Johnson registered an assist in a 4-1 loss Tuesday night.

Johnson has five goals and 24 points in 46 contests in 2014-15. Those aren't bad numbers by his standards, but it's mitigated by his ugly minus-25 rating. Unfortunately, we don't see Johnson doing any better from a plus/minus perspective for the rest of the season as he'll continue to log plenty of minutes on a Columbus team that's already out of the playoff race.

Jack Johnson was minus-two on Friday and is now an NHL worst minus-18.

It's been a tough year for the defenseman who had to file for bankruptcy on October 7 after his parents allegedly took advantage of him after Johnson gave them power over his finances. Johnson does have a goal and nine points with 12 penalty minutes but his plus/minus kills all his fantasy value, if you play the category in your pool.

Jack Johnson scored once and received huge cheers from the Columbus crowd on Friday.

Johnson's plight has been revealed in the last few days as he was forced to file for bankruptcy after giving his parents power over his finances and having his parents allegedly taking advantage of the situation by taking out a series of loans that turned so bad, Johnson had only $50,000 worth of assets and $10 million-plus of debt. We wish him the best of luck.

Jack Johnson filed for bankruptcy on Oct. 7.

Johnson reportedly had given his parents power over his finances and they took advantage of the situation by taking out a series of loans against his contract and used it to purchase cars for themselves, a house, and other things. It got so bad that Johnson reportedly had more than $10 million in debt and had assets of less than $50,000. "I'd say I picked the wrong people who led me down the wrong path," Johnson said. "I've got people in place who are going to fix everything now. It's something I should have done a long time ago."

Jack Johnson has finished serving his three-game suspension.

He was able to use the time off to rest a couple of bumps and bruises. Johnson was suspended for an illegal check to the head of Carolina's Jiri Tlusty earlier this month. He will be back in the lineup for Friday's match against Philadelphia.

Jack Johnson has been suspended for three games for his high hit on Carolina's Jiri Tlusty.

The NHL ruled that Johnson's hit was not late, but he did make the head the principal point of contact. Tlusty suffered an upper-body injury as a result of the hit. Johnson doesn't have a suspension history though, which likely worked in his favor. He will be eligible to return on Nov. 14.

Jack Johnson played in his 500th NHL game on Friday.

The defenseman picked up an assist on the lone Columbus goal and now has four assists in 10 games. He was also a minus-two and has a terrible minus-nine thus far making his fantasy value negligible.

Jack Johnson had two assists in Columbus' 4-2 loss to Dallas on Tuesday.

Johnson didn't get a point in his first two games of the 2014-15 campaign. He had 33 points last season and he's capable of putting up similar numbers this season.

Coach Todd Richards has been shuffling his defense pairings and Jack Johnson is currently playing alongside David Savard.

The duo will play together on Sunday at home against St. Louis. The other pairings thus far are: Fedor Tyutin and Dalton Prout, while James Wisniewski is seeing ice time with Tim Erixon. Ryan Murray is still rehabbing an injured knee and he will be in the top-six once he recovers.

Jack Johnson led all players in ice time once again as he played 26:49 minutes in a 3-1 loss on Saturday to Pittsburgh.

Johnson has been a workhorse in the playoffs which included a 38:21 minute game in Game 2 which went into double overtime. "I don't think there is a (ceiling)," coach Todd Richards said. "Jack's ceiling is outside somewhere. It is impressive the minutes that he's been able to log. And he's playing tough minutes. They aren't easy. He's playing against great players, world-class players, and he's able to do it over and over again." Johnson has three goals and five points in five playoff games this post-season.

Jack Johnson tied an NHL record for defensemen by scoring a goal in three straight contests to start the playoffs.

Johnson is already approaching his regular season goal total of five in 82 games. He'll slow down of course, but he's been one of the Blue Jackets' top offensive contributors so far.

Jack Johnson scored his third goal of the postseason Monday, however the Blue Jackets dropped a 4-3 decision to Pittsburgh in Game 3 of their opening round playoff series.

The maligned blueliner has been a bright spot for the Jackets this postseason by scoring a goal in each of the team's three playoff contests. Cam Atkinson and Boone Jenner also scored for Columbus in the defeat, which dropped them into a 2-1 series hole.
