Jack Skille is day-to-day with an upper body injury.

Skille suffered the injury Wednesday in practice and sat out the game later that evening against Arizona. He has no fantasy value.
Nov 24 - 11:48 AM

Jack Skille and Alex Biega will be scratched against the Senators on Thursday night.

Biega has seen just one game so far this season. Skille meanwhile is still without a point through six games, though he does have his customary 12 hits in that time.
Nov 3 - 6:35 PM

Jack Skille will sit out Wednesday night with Vancouver playing Montreal

Joining Skille - who is scoreless in six games - are Nikita Tryamkin and Alex Biega who has appeared in one game playing 8:37. Not likely to need to adjust any fantasy rosters with this trio.
Nov 2 - 7:20 PM

Jack Skille will return to the Canucks' lineup on Sunday against the Ducks.

It'll be the veteran depth forward's second match of the season. He has just 75 career points in 315 games, but he has 518 hits and whole lot of motivation. So if you're searching for a last-minute plug you could do a lot worse.
Oct 23 - 6:06 PM

Jack Skille, Alex Biega and Nikita Tryamkin will each be scratched from Saturday's match with the Kings.

Of the three only Skille has seen any game action so far this season, and he's yet to make an impact on the stat sheet. We wouldn't expect much from any of them, unfortunately.
Oct 22 - 8:49 PM

Jack Skille is slated to make his Vancouver debut on Tuesday versus St. Louis.

He skated alongside Bo Horvat and Sven Baertschi during the morning session. Skille is expected to bump Jake Virtanen from the lineup.
Oct 18 - 2:15 PM

Oct 13 - 2:32 PM

The Vancouver Canucks have offered Jack Skille a contract.

Skille was attending the Canucks' training camp on a tryout basis. If he agrees to Vancouver's terms then it looks like he'll open the season on the Canucks' roster. He had eight goals and 14 points in 74 games with the Colorado Avalanche in 2015-16.
Oct 12 - 9:57 AM

Jack Skille was the last player off the ice following Monday's practice as he has his sights set on making the Canucks off of a PTO.

"I’m willing to chew through rope to be here," said Skille. "If I prove I’m on a mission and ready to go, I think I should turn some heads. When you look back as a young guy, you always have time and if you don’t make the playoffs, there’s always next year. That’s not the case. I’ve seen how hard it is. I want to win. It’s getting late in my career and I want to ride this bus as long as possible." The 29-year-old is a veteran of 313 NHL games and if he makes the team, it will be as a third or fourth liner. He'll face stiff competition though, including from fellow PTO invites James Sheppard and Tuomo Ruutu.
Sep 20 - 8:50 AM

Jack Skille will attend training camp with Vancouver on a professional tryout.

He notched eight goals and 14 points in 74 games with the Colorado Avalanche last season. The Canucks will also have Tuomo Ruutu, James Sheppard and goaltender Kevin Carr at camp on PTOs.
Sep 19 - 5:15 PM

Jack Skille, Chris Bigras, and Andrew Bodnarchuk will each be scratched against the Ducks on Saturday.

Unfortunately there isn't a lick of fantasy value between them, but Skille still put up a nice season. The veteran depth winger had his best season since 2010-11, posting 14 points and 97 hits through 74 games.

Jack Skille, Andrew Bodnarchuk, and Zach Redmond will each be scratched Friday night against Washington.

Through 71 games this season Skille has posted 14 points with 94 hits. Pretty great considering how his career has gone, but not enough to be added on to your squad with.
Apr 1 - 7:36 PM

Jack Skille will be a healthy scratch versus the Anaheim Ducks Wednesday when they visit the Colorado Avalanche

Andrew Bonarchuk will remain a healthy scratch and Andreas Martinsen will draw into the lineup as a result of Skille's scratch.
Mar 9 - 9:59 PM

Jack Skille (concussion) has been cleared to return to action and he'll play in Wednesday's game versus Montreal.

He has sat out the past five games with a concussion. Skille is projected to start the contest on a line with Nathan MacKinnon and Alex Tanguay.
