Jack Skille suffered an ankle injury on Saturday.

It appears that Skille's season is over since there are only two weeks left in the season. He has only five goals and nine points in 55 games this season and he may be a bubble player next season in Vancouver.
Mar 26 - 11:08 AM

Canucks coach Willie Desjardins said he wouldn't expect to see Jack Skille "in the lineup for a while."

Skille sustained an undisclosed injury during Saturday's game. There's not much time left in the regular season, so if he's expected to be out for "a while" then it seems reasonable to wonder if he's done for 2016-17.

Jack Skille sustained an undisclosed injury during Saturday's game.

Skille needed to be helped off the ice after being hit into the boards by Charlie Coyle. There aren't many details yet, but the Canucks have said that Skille will not return to the game.
Mar 25 - 4:12 PM

Jack Skille noted that he will return to the lineup Tuesday against Chicago.

The veteran winger has not played since Feb. 18th with an undisclosed injury. Through 52 games this season he's posted seven points and 71 hits, while averaging 8:41 of ice time per game. "There's no special recipe on how to ease back in," Skille said, "I'm ready to battle and happy just to be back."
Mar 21 - 1:33 PM

Jack Skille (undisclosed) will travel with the Canucks on the team's upcoming three-game road trip.

He skated on Monday morning, but his status is unclear at this time. Skille hasn't been in the lineup since Feb. 18.
Mar 20 - 2:16 PM

Jack Skille has four goals and seven points in 43 contests this season.

Skille is averaging just 8:53 minutes per game and for a player that's getting that little ice time, he's actually been a decent offensive contributor. In fact, among players getting less than nine minutes a game, Skille's seven points ties him for first in the league with Ryan Reaves.
Jan 28 - 4:22 AM

Jack Skille scored a pair of goals in Thursday's 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Skille opened the scoring at the 3:50 mark of the first period, and his second marker made it 5-1 in the third frame. The goals were his first two of the year. The 29-year-old has three points in 20 games and he won't have any fantasy value going forward. Jayson Megna (twice) and Erik Gudbranson also scored for Vancouver.

Jack Skille was back in the lineup on Friday from an upper-body injury.

He didn't play on Wednesday due to the ailment. Skille had two shots in only 5:58 of ice time in Vancouver's 2-1 loss to Dallas.

Jack Skille is day-to-day with an upper body injury.

Skille suffered the injury Wednesday in practice and sat out the game later that evening against Arizona. He has no fantasy value.

Jack Skille and Alex Biega will be scratched against the Senators on Thursday night.

Biega has seen just one game so far this season. Skille meanwhile is still without a point through six games, though he does have his customary 12 hits in that time.

Jack Skille will sit out Wednesday night with Vancouver playing Montreal

Joining Skille - who is scoreless in six games - are Nikita Tryamkin and Alex Biega who has appeared in one game playing 8:37. Not likely to need to adjust any fantasy rosters with this trio.

Jack Skille will return to the Canucks' lineup on Sunday against the Ducks.

It'll be the veteran depth forward's second match of the season. He has just 75 career points in 315 games, but he has 518 hits and whole lot of motivation. So if you're searching for a last-minute plug you could do a lot worse.

Jack Skille, Alex Biega and Nikita Tryamkin will each be scratched from Saturday's match with the Kings.

Of the three only Skille has seen any game action so far this season, and he's yet to make an impact on the stat sheet. We wouldn't expect much from any of them, unfortunately.
