Through 45 games this season he as four goals and 12 points along with 53 hits and just 60 shots on net. He was originally brought in to help provide some depth scoring, but unfortunately the 30-year-old has been unable to get the job done.

Setoguchi has three goals and six points in 18 games this season. He's not likely to pick up the pace too much, in part because he's averaging a modest 13:33 minutes per game.

For the first time since 2014, and after a serious battle with addiction, Devin Setoguchi put an exclamation point on an inspiring story by scoring two goals.

Setoguchi's two goals helped the Los Angeles Kings beat the Calgary Flames 5-0 on Saturday. He had two assists previously this season but went seven games without generating a point before this memorable night. Dustin Brown enjoyed something of a throwback night with two assists of his own.

It was Setoguchi's first point in the NHL since March 19, 2014. He's come back to the NHL after rehabbing from a drinking problem and spending a season in the Swiss league.

Devin Setoguchi was able to make his Kings debut against the team that drafted him, the San Jose Sharks.

Setoguchi earned a contract with Los Angeles after attending its training camp on a tryout basis. "It means a lot. … It’s a big place," Setoguchi said of playing against San Jose. "It’s a place where I started my career. It was an organization that took me in. It means a lot. On the other side of things, this game here with this club here means more. It’s a big game for us to start the season." Setoguchi had two shots on goal in 15:20 minutes of ice time.
