Martin Hanzal provided the only Coyotes’ goal of the night in a 4-1 loss to the Sharks Saturday.
Hanzal has five goals in his last five games. He scored twice against the Penguins February 11. That snapped a five-game streak during which he failed to score a single goal and had only one assist and gave him the momentum he currently rides. Feb 19 - 1:02 AM

Martin Hanzal scored one goal in a 5-2 losing effort to the Oilers Tuesday night.

Hanzal’s goal was important because it momentarily answered a challenge by the Oilers. It came 11 seconds after Matt Hendricks and Leon Draisaitl scored 33 seconds apart at 2:51 and 3:22 in the second period to give Edmonton a 2-1 lead. Hanzal currently has a three-game streak in which he has earned at least one goal.
Feb 15 - 12:05 AM

Martin Hanzal made a triumphant return as he scored twice to lead Arizona to a 4-3 overtime victory over Pittsburgh.

Hanzal missed Thursday's game due to an illness but was back in force on Saturday as he now has 12 goals and 21 points in 44 games. Justas importantly, Hanzal shut down Sidney Crosby as the Penguins star was pointless. "It’s hard," Hanzal said. "He’s probably the best player in the world. I was trying to stay close to him, and I was trying to be in his face pretty much all night. He’s a great player. If you give him room, he’s going to score against you. So I was trying to be hard on him, and it worked." As a pending UFA, Hanzal is a prime trade candidate as Arizona is not close to the playoffs.

Feb 9 - 1:58 PM

However, coach Dave Tippett thinks Hanzal will be OK to play on Thursday. If he is good to go then he should be back between Tobias Rieder and Radim Vrbata.
Feb 8 - 3:04 PM

Martin Hanzal had a goal and two assists in the Coyotes 5-3 win Saturday.

Hanzal is a productive fantasy player but he has a problem staying healthy and that kills a lot of his fantasy value. Hanzal has 10 goals and 18 points in 38 games with 39 penalty minutes but his minus-15 rating is a tough stat to deal with if you play that category.

Martin Hanzal (personal) won't be in the lineup on Wednesday.

"Marty Hanzal had to leave the team today to go back home to deal with a family matter," coach Dave Tippett said. "He won't be available tonight." Alexander Burmistrov and Christian Dvorak may center the top-two lines as a result of Hanzal's absence.
Jan 18 - 2:00 PM

Martin Hanzal provided five of the 26 shots of goal for the Coyotes Saturday night, but none of them found the back of the net as they lost 3-0 to the Ducks.

The silver lining is that this was Hanzal’s most shots on goal since he made six against the Kings December 1st. There is more than one way to rack up fantasy points.
Jan 14 - 11:07 PM

Martin Hanzal had a successful return to the Arizona lineup Friday night.

He had missed last Saturday's contest with a lower-body injury but looked fine logging 20:20 in ice time and winning 17 of 25 faceoffs against the Jets. Feel free to activate Hanzal if you need him.
