Andrew Ladd had an assist in the Islanders' 5-3 victory over Pittsburgh on Wednesday.

It was just Ladd's fourth point in 22 games this season. Ladd has been a huge disappointment so far this season and to make matters worse for fantasy owners, his role has been declining as a result. Even though he got an assist on Wednesday, he logged just 12:29 minutes of ice time. Keep an eye on him because a big rebound is possible, but we wouldn't go so far as to call it probable at this point.
Dec 1 - 11:16 AM

Andrew Ladd is going through some profound struggles.

Ladd has attempted three shots over his last three games, and none have hit the net. He didn't even have an attempt on Friday against Pittsburgh. For the season, Ladd has one goal on 57 shot attempts and just 29 on net. Yikes. If you're still hanging onto the veteran winger, we'd cut bait.
Nov 19 - 5:07 PM

Andrew Ladd found the back of the net for the second straight game.

The Islanders dropped a 4-1 decision to the Lightning tonight, but at least appears to be trending in the right direction. He opened the season with no goals in his first 12 games as an Islander, so the team will be encouraged by his recent performance. Johnny Boychuk picked up the only assist on Ladd's goal.
Nov 10 - 11:42 PM

Andrew Ladd scored a goal in the Islanders' 4-2 victory over Vancouver on Monday.

It was Ladd's first goal in 13 games with the Islanders. He's struggled mightily so far so it will be interesting to see if he can bounce back now that he's moved past that first marker.
Nov 8 - 9:42 AM

Andrew Ladd has not found the back of the net for the Islanders.

Well he did score in preseason but that doesn't count. The prized free agent signing had 46 points last season between stints in Winnipeg and Chicago but it was thought that this season would be a return to the 60-point mark as he was expected to play with John Tavares. That has happened but the scoring hasn't and he is starting to press. He has only one measly assist in eight games and while we would keep him in the lineup, he certainly has given no reason to do so.
Oct 30 - 8:31 AM

Andrew Ladd scored in Wednesday's 3-2 preseason win ver the New Jersey Devils.

The goal was Ladd's second of the exhibition season and it was scored on the power play. Ryan Pulock and P.A. Parenteau picked up the helpers on Ladd's marker. Ladd finished the game with a minus-1 rating, four penalty minutes and a shot on goal in just over 12 minutes of ice time. He'll likely be one of New York's primary point producers this season.
Oct 5 - 10:08 PM

After signing a $38.5 million deal today, Andrew Ladd's says he wants to take the Islanders to the 'next level'.

"I think any team with John Tavares on it and the goaltending and the defense that the Islanders have, they're very close," Ladd said. "I'm looking forward to the challenge with helping this team get to the next level, and that's a Stanley Cup." Ladd could record his first 30-goal season on a line with John Tavares next season. Even if he doesn't reach 30 goals, look for Ladd to push for 70 points this season.
Jul 1 - 9:12 PM

Andrew Ladd has signed a seven-year/$38.5 million deal with the New York Islanders.

A big deal for Ladd who was dealt from the Jets to the Blackhawks on trade deadline day. He will take his spot on a line with John Tavares and should be able to hit the 70 point mark and maybe better this season.
Jul 1 - 12:07 PM

The New York Islanders provided Andrew Ladd with a tour of their new practice facilities, among other things.

The Islanders are among the teams that are believed to be in the running for Ladd, who will become an unrestricted free agent at noon ET on Friday. Ladd is one of the more desirable forwards available and he'd be a nice addition for the Islanders, who are likely to lose Kyle Okposo.

Jul 1 - 9:11 AM

Andrew Ladd has a number of teams interested with free agency set to begin on Friday.

The New York Islanders, Nashville, Tampa Bay and Montreal have expressed their intent to get him signed. Ladd wants a crack at a Stanley Cup and that will factor into his decision making when he hits the open market.
Jun 29 - 12:55 PM

Andrew Ladd is looking forward to seeing what unrestricted free agency has in store for him.

"Right now it's like you just want to get there. It seems like we've been waiting for quite some time now to get the next contract," Ladd said. "It's exciting to think about the opportunities, [to] see who is interested." He wants another chance at a Stanley Cup and he wants a situation that is good for his family.
Jun 14 - 6:17 PM

Andrew Ladd doesn't sound optimistic that he will play for the Blackhawks next season.

"When we spoke after the season, they said it would be tough," he said. "The likelihood is they don't have the room to make it work." He added that the uncertainty is a "weird feeling, the waiting game. It's new to me. I honestly don't know what will happen." Ladd can become an unrestricted free agent next month.
Jun 1 - 6:04 PM

Andrew Ladd can become an unrestricted free agent in July, but he appears to be open to giving the Blackhawks a discount on his services.

"I'm at the point in my career where I can make decisions based on being in a good situation and at the end of the day, I don't think it's all about money for me," Ladd, said. "It's about being in a good place for my family and being on a team that's going to contend every year. You'd be crazy not to want to be a part of this group, this organization and we'll see what happens." He made $4.5 million this past season and he could demand much more than that on the open market.
Apr 28 - 9:16 AM

Andrew Ladd registered two points in the Blackhawks’ 6-3 come-from-behind win against the Blues to force Game 7 on Saturday.

From down 3-1 in the series to now a win away from round two. Ladd scored the game’s first goal, then the Blues got three in a row. But that was it. Ladd also assisted on Marian Hossa’s empty-net goal at 17:49. He seemed to be more engaged (four shots on goal) in this game than any previous, which is obviously good news for Chicago. Artem Anisimov, Trevor van Riemsdyk, Dale Weise and Andrew Shaw got the other goals. Artemi Panarin and Jonathan Toews got two helpers apiece. The lesson? Don’t count out the Blackhawks.
