Nov 16 - 8:41 PM

After a very slow start to the season during which he registered only one point in five games, Andrew Ladd has been extremely productive.

He has scored six goals and registered nine points in the Jets' last nine games. Ladd has always been a streaky player and when he is going hot you just have to ride him.

Oct 26 - 5:52 PM

Andrew Ladd registered his first goal of the season Tuesday night as the Jets upended the hapless Hurricanes by a score of 3-1.

Ladd had recorded just one point in the season's first five games entering Tuesday, but his track record of success gives us comfort that he'll have no problem rebounding. Dustin Byfuglien and Adam Lowry also scored goals for the Jets in the much-needed victory.

The Winnipeg Jets were shutout 2-0 at home against the Nashville Predators on Friday.

After scoring six goals against Arizona in their season-opener, the Jets have scored just one goal in their last three games. Andrew Ladd and Mark Scheifele each had four shots on goal, but the loss of Evander Kane has clearly hurt Winnipeg's ability to score. The Jets are now 1-3-0 this season.

Oct 1 - 9:44 AM

Andrew Ladd says the Jets could use off-season projections as motivation this year.

Several pundits predict that Winnipeg will finish last again in a very deep Central Division. "I think as a group we can use it as motivation to tell each other that no one's really giving us a chance and there's nothing wrong with that," said Ladd. The Jets captain registered 23 goals and 54 points in 78 games last year.
Aug 28 - 9:44 AM

Andrew Ladd caused a bit of a stir when he "accidentally" put a favorite on a Tweet that criticized the Jets' off-season.

The Tweet posted by @sliiiiip said, "I just found a video that sums up the #NHLJets offseason magnificently!" It had a link to a YouTube video wrestling's Bryan Alvarez yelling "minus five stars" for a full 10 minutes. Ladd explained that he didn't even know he'd favorited it until he was contacted by Winnipeg's communications staff and then he removed it. He also said he didn't even watch the video. It is reasonable to believe the Jets captain had a slip of the finger, but the incident came at a bad time because the team has come under fire from fans and media for their lack of roster moves.
