Jokinen has registered five assists in the Cats' last four games and is playing the excellent hockey GM Dale Tallon expected when he signed the 31-year-old to a four-year deal. Jokinen is playing on the Panthers' first line and first power-play unit and is certainly rosterable.

He set up Brandon Pirri's first-period tally and he had a helper on Brad Boyes' game-winning goal in overtime, which came on the power play. Jokinen didn't have a point in his previous five outings with the Panthers. He was shifted to a line with Pirri and Tomas Fleischmann for Tuesday's match.

Jokinen got a second chance with Pittsburgh after Carolina soured on him and he made the most of it. He had 21 goals and 57 points in 81 games in 2013-14. He should get top-six minutes in Florida and is a fair bet to surpass the 50-point mark again next season.
