Jussi Jokinen scored a goal and picked up two assists in a 5-4 overtime win over the Columbus Blue Jackets.

The three-point afternoon are the most he has had in a game this season. He has also picked up six points over his last four games, bringing him to 15 points in 57 games so far this season. The 34-year-old forward will be an unrestricted free-agent at the end of the season. Darren Archibald, Nikolay Goldobin, Bo Horvat and Alex Edler (overtime winner) also scored in the win.

Jokinen will be the only healthy scratch. Sven Baertschi (shoulder), Markus Granlund (ankle), Brendan Gaunce (foot), Christopher Tanev (leg), Erik Gudbranson (shoulder), Brock Boeser (back) and Loui Eriksson (fractured rib) will also miss the game.

Jussi Jokinen notched his second goal of the season in Wednesday's 2-1 loss against the Coyotes.

Juice was playing in just his second game since coming over from the Blue Jackets. He managed no goals and just one assist in 14 games with Columbus. His last goal actually came as a member of the Kings organization earlier this season, a game-winning tally on Nov. 30 in Washington. Needless to say, his fantasy appeal is rather minimal at the moment.

Columbus has traded Jussi Jokinen and Tyler Motte to Vancouver in exchange for Thomas Vanek.

Jokinen was put on waivers by Columbus Sunday and this will be his fourth stop this year after playing for Edmonton and Los Angeles previously. He has one goal and six assists in 46 games this season.

"He’s been great. He’s been a really good teammate," Kings coach John Stevens said. "He’s come in, his attitude has been terrific. He’s like another coach in the locker room. He understands the game really well, and I just think it’s a situation where maybe some young guys are taking a step. Get an opportunity to look at some young guys and see where they’re at." Los Angeles acquired Jokinen from Edmonton for Mike Cammalleri on Nov. 14. Since the trade, Jokinen has recorded a goal and five points in 18 contests with the Kings.

Jussi Jokinen netted the game-winning goal in the Kings' 5-2 victory over Washington Thursday night.

It was Jokinen's first game-winner since Dec. 31, 2016. He has a goal and three points in eight games with the Kings since being acquired from Edmonton.
