Kyle Brodziak will be a healthy scratch in Minnesota's game against the Philadelphia Flyers on Thursday.

Brodziak will be replaced by Stu Bickel. The 30-year-old has scored three goals and four points in 12 games this season.
Nov 20 - 5:53 PM

Kyle Brodziak's line combined for six points in the first period of Thursday's 6-3 win over Buffalo.

Brodziak notched a goal and an assist to end a five-game pointless skid. Ryan Carter produced a goal and a helper as well, while Justin Fontaine added a pair of assists. The trio produced both goals before the first period was 10 minutes old.

Kyle Brodziak's first two goals of the season were humungous on Thursday night, as they erased a two-goal third-period deficit for the Wild and allowed them to emerge 3-2 in overtime against San Jose.

Brodziak managed eight goals in 81 games last season, so scoring a pair in just over five minutes was quite a big deal. Brodziak helped the Wild come within two points of the Central Division leading Nashville Predators.
Oct 31 - 12:15 AM

Kyle Brodziak returned from the press box on Tuesday night.

He centered a line between Thomas Vanek and Nino Niederreiter. Brodziak's forecheck helped create Niederreiter's opening goal of the match in a 4-3 win over Boston. He had been a healthy scratch for the previous five games.
Oct 29 - 2:15 PM

Kyle Brodziak is projected to be a healthy scratch Friday night.

Minnesota's fourth line at practice appears to be Matt Cooke, Ryan Carter and Jason Zucker. The Wild will get Justin Fontaine back from injury against Anaheim, so he'll be taking Brodziak's spot in the lineup.
Oct 17 - 3:51 PM

Kyle Brodziak (back) was able to play in Thursday's regular season opener.

He recorded three shots in 12:05 of ice time during Minnesota's 5-0 domination of Colorado. Brodziak also won five of his nine faceoffs in the contest.
Oct 10 - 1:48 AM

Kyle Brodziak (back) didn't participate in Tuesday's practice.

Brodziak did skate on his own though. For what it's worth, he doesn't have a history of serious back problems.
Sep 23 - 12:37 PM

Kyle Brodziak (back) hasn't skated for the past two days.

List him as day-to-day for the time being. Brodziak shouldn't be on your fantasy radar after he scored eight goals and 24 points in 81 games last season.
Sep 22 - 3:42 PM

The Minnesota Wild are reportedly shopping Kyle Brodziak.

The Wild aren't likely to get much for Brodziak, but they might just want to get rid of his roughly $2.8 million cap hit. He had 24 points and 61 penalty minutes in 81 games in 2013-14.
Jun 25 - 10:06 AM

Kyle Brodziak will center a line featuring the surprisingly effective Dany Heatley Sunday afternoon in Game 2 against Chicago.

Cody McCormick will be the third member of the Wild's fourth unit. Heatley has five points in six playoff games and seems to be enjoying some sort of resurrection. The underrated Brodziak can take some of the credit for that.
May 4 - 12:08 PM

Kyle Brodziak scored a goal in Minnesota's 5-2 loss to Chicago in Game 1 of their second round playoff series on Friday night.

Brodziak converted a 2-on-1 down low with Erik Haula, lifting home his third of the postseason at 6:56 in the third period to square the game. Brodzik now has six points in seven games in the postseason. Defenseman Clayton Stoner scored the other goal for the Wild and that was his first ever NHL playoff goal.
May 3 - 2:53 AM

Kyle Brodziak collected three assists in Wednesday night's Game 7 victory against Colorado.

He helped set up Minnesota's two goals in the third period and the game-winner in overtime. Brodziak was a healthy scratch in Game 3, but he ended up with five points in six contests in the series.
May 1 - 12:44 PM

Kyle Brodziak scored a goal in the Wild's 4-3 overtime defeat in Game 5.

Brodziak has two goals in four playoff games. That's pretty impressive when you consider that he's only fired five shots on goal. Of course, we don't expect him to continue at anything close to that goal scoring pace.
Apr 27 - 10:05 AM

Kyle Brodziak is projected to return to Minnesota's lineup on Thursday night.

He was a healthy scratch in Game 3 but with Matt Cooke suspended, Brodziak will return to the Wild's fourth line. It's expected that he'll center a unit between Dany Heatley and Cody McCormick.
