While it's not 100 percent certain, it looks like Tomas Fleischmann will draw back into the Anaheim Ducks' lineup against the Chicago Blackhawks in Game 7 of the WCF on Saturday.
Bruce Boudreau seems like he's leaning toward experience in slotting Fleischmann in for Emerson Etem. The 31-year-old Czech has one assist in five postseason games. He's gone three straight without a point, receiving minimal ice time and only generating a single SOG in that span. It would be surprising if "Flash" is a big difference-maker in this one, but Game 7's can be unpredictable. May 30 - 5:12 PM

Tomas Fleischmann will be back to serving as a healthy scratch for Game 6 against the Blackhawks Wednesday night.

Fleischmann dressed in Game 5’s overtime win but only played 10:14 and recorded zero shots on goal. He has played in just five games this postseason and has registered one assist. Emerson Etem will take his usual spot on the fourth line wing alongside Jiri Sekac and Rickard Rakell.
May 27 - 5:15 PM

Tomas Fleischmann will rejoin the Ducks lineup for Monday’s Game 5 contest with the Blackhawks.

Head Coach Bruce Boudreau hinted at a possible lineup change earlier in the day and will in fact insert veteran forward Tomas Fleischmann onto the Ducks fourth line. The veteran forward will replace Emerson Etem Monday night and will play the wing alongside Rickard Rakell and Jiri Sekac. Fleischmann has played in just four playoff games this year and has registered one assist, but does have 33 games of postseason experience under his belt.
May 25 - 8:55 PM

Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau feels Tomas Fleischmann's experience is an asset in big games.

"He's had success in these games," Boudreau noted. We'll have to wait and see if that translates into Fleischmann playing in Game 5 on Monday. Fleischmann has an assist in four playoff games this year.
May 25 - 3:13 PM

Anaheim Ducks' Coach Boudreau is "sleeping" on potentially shaking up his lines in Game 5 on Monday night.

The Ducks and Blackhawks sit tied at two in their bid to represent the west in the Stanley Cup Final in June. Winger Tomas Fleischmann and defenseman James Wisniewski are the possible injections of fresh legs. Fleischmann hasn't played since Game 2 versus Calgary, and has just a point in four total postseason games. Wisniewski meanwhile has yet to dress in the playoffs.
May 24 - 7:56 PM

Tomas Fleischmann, Tim Jackman, Chris Wagner, Jason LaBarbera and James Wisniewski will be healthy scratches in Game 3 of the Western Conference Final against Chicago.

The Ducks will go with the same lineup that they iced in the previous game. It's amazing to see that Anaheim is deep enough to keep players like Fleischmann and Wisniewski out of their lineup. Not many teams (if any) have the kind of depth that the Ducks have.
May 21 - 8:09 PM

Tomas Fleischmann remained in Anaheim's lineup for Game 5.

However, his ice time remained limited. He played 8:23 in Game 4 and he saw 8:52 on Sunday night. Coach Bruce Boudreau was reluctant to change a winning lineup and he liked having the ability to send Fleischmann out for four-on-four situations as well as spot him at center. He took Emerson Etem's spot in the lineup again.
May 11 - 9:49 AM

Tomas Fleischmann will indeed draw into the lineup on Friday.

Fleischmann is projected to play alongside Andrew Cogliano and Rickard Rakell on the Ducks' third line. "I need to help win battles along the boards and contribute offensively," he said. Kyle Palmieri has moved from the third to fourth line to make room for Fleischmann. Emerson Etem will be a healthy scratch.
May 8 - 2:49 PM

Tomas Fleischmann practiced on the third line in Thursday's practice.

Fleischmann took Kyle Palmieri's place and skated alongside Andrew Cogliano and Rickard Rakell. The last time Fleischmann played was on April 22. He's capable of chipping in offensively, so inserting him into the lineup might pay off for Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau.
May 8 - 9:26 AM

No line changes are expected for Anaheim as they take on Calgary in Game Three on Tuesday night.

Forwards Tomas Fleischmann and Jiri Sekac will be joined by defensemen James Wisniewski and Korbinian Holzer in the press box once again.
May 5 - 7:25 PM

Tomas Fleischmann, Chris Wagner, Jiri Sekac are expected to be healthy scratches in Sunday's game against Calgary.

Not many teams are deep enough to sit players like Fleischmann and Sekac, but the Ducks are. Anaheim's forward lines should look something like this: Maroon-Getzlaf-Perry, Beleskey-Kesler-Silfverberg, Cogliano-Rakell-Palmieri, Etem-Thompson-Jackman.
May 3 - 9:35 PM

Tomas Fleischmann will be scratched in Game 1 versus Calgary.

He will watch from the press box because Nate Thompson is ready to return from an upper-body injury. "Fleischmann was great for us," coach Bruce Boudreau said. "It goes to our depth that if things don't go right, we've got guys. ... Nate being a natural centerman and a penalty-killer and a faceoff guy is a vital guy to our team. He's been a vital guy for the whole year."
Apr 30 - 5:31 PM

Tomas Fleischmann might be a healthy scratch in Game 1 of Anaheim's second round series.

Fleischmann had an assist in two games in the Ducks' sweep of the Winnipeg Jets. If he ends up in the press box, it will likely be because Nate Thompson is ready to return from an upper-body injury.
Apr 30 - 9:13 AM

Tomas Fleischmann picked up an assist in Game 4.

Fleischmann had been a healthy scratch in all but six games since his trade from Florida at the deadline but played admirably in Games 3 and 4 on the fourth unit. "Fleisch has been unreal for us," defenseman Hampus Lindholm said. "He really deserved to get a goal there in the first game he came in. In the second game, he played really good. He deserved that spot. It's fun to see guys coming in like that." Fleischmann could continue to see action in the second round as Steve Wagner is still hurt.
Apr 25 - 7:52 AM

Tomas Fleischmann will remain in the Ducks lineup for Game 4 Wednesday night versus the Jets.

With Chris Wagner and Nate Thompson both out with injuries, Fleischmann will remain in the Ducks lineup Wednesday. Fleischmann dressed in Game 3 and registered two shots on goal in 11:23 minutes played. He will most likely center the Ducks’ fourth line once again between Emerson Etem and Tim Jackman.
