Tomas Fleischmann popped the eventual game-winning goal and collected an assist on Friday night in Florida's 6-5 win in Calgary.

Fleischmann simply followed up the scrum and cleaned up the garbage with 16:51 left in the third, with help from goalie Al Montoya, the sixth Panthers' goal of the game proved to be enough.

Tomas Fleischmann (undisclosed) will return to the lineup Thursday.

He has missed the past two games with an undisclosed ailment. Brandon Pirri will head to the press box to make room for his return.
Jan 8 - 4:12 PM

Tomas Fleischmann is considered doubtful for Sunday's game against Washington.

Fleischmann was injured during Panthers' practice on Friday. He didn't practice on Saturday, so it seems unlikely that he would be able to play against the Capitals on Sunday. The 30-year-old has four goals and five assists in 31 games this season.
Jan 4 - 10:22 AM

Tomas Fleischmann sustained an undisclosed injury during practice this morning and will not play Friday night against Buffalo.

Fleischmann's rough season continues. We'll keep you posted on his status. Brandon Pirri will sub in and skate on Florida's fourth line right win.
Jan 2 - 6:10 PM

Tomas Fleischmann scored a pretty breakaway goal on Henrik Lundqvist, but the Panthers still fell to the Rangers 5-2 on Wednesday.

After Jonathan Huberdeau intercepted a Rangers pass in the Cats' defensive zone, he sprung Flash with a long two-line pass and he fought off Kevin Klein most of the way before scoring. It was a great display of determination and skill coming together. He now has four goals and nine points in 31 games this season.

Tomas Fleischmann will skate on the Panthers' fourth line Tuesday night against Montreal.

He'll skate to the left of Scottie Upshall and Derek MacKenzie. The three have combined for 11 goals 24 points, three goals and eight points of which belong to Flash. His talent may be tantalizing, but don't be fooled. He hasn't scored since December 12th and already has two six-game pointless droughts under his belt this season.

Thomas Fleischmann and Brandon Pirri will be healthy scratches against the Maple Leafs Sunday.

We wonder, is there a more frustrating player in the NHL than Fleischmann? He can go through periods where he plays very well on the Panthers' top line and periods where he is arguably the worst forward on the team. Needless to say, he is not rosterable.

Tomas Fleischmann was a healthy scratch Monday night.

He logged 12:28 of ice time on Saturday versus Pittsburgh in his last outing. Fleischmann had two goals and three assists in a four-game point streak prior to going scoreless in his past four appearances.

Tomas Fleischmann is gaining confidence on Florida's top line.

"I want to prove that I should be there on this line," said Fleischmann, who has been playing with Nick Bjugstad and Jonathan Huberdeau. "That's what I'm trying to do right now. We have a lot of players coming back [from injury], and I want to stay where I'm at. I have to play my best right now." He has produced a goal and three helpers in his past three contests.

The Florida Panthers are reportedly interested in trading a veteran to create an opening for one of their younger players.

Tomas Fleischmann is believed to be one of the players the Panthers would prefer to part ways with. He has just two points in 17 games in 2014-15, but can play solid defensively. However, his $4.5 million annual cap hit will likely keep him off of a lot of team's radar.

Tomas Fleischmann will be moved from the fourth line to the press box Monday night.

Fleischmann can't seem to find his game with the Panthers this season and will be a healthy scratch Monday when the Panthers take on the Wild. This will mark just the second game missed for the Panthers winger. Fleischmann has amassed just a goal and assist in 17 games for Florida this year. Vincent Trochek and Dylan Olsen will also be healthy scratches for the Panthers.
