Tomas Fleischmann is expected to make his 2015 playoff debut Monday night against the Jets.

With Chris Wagner out due to an upper body injury, it appears Fleischmann will be called upon to fill the roster spot. He was seen skating on a line with Emerson Etem and Tim Jackman during the team's morning skate. The veteran has recorded four goals and four assists in 29 career postseason games.
Apr 20 - 5:37 PM

Tomas Fleischmann recorded an assist in Anaheim's 5-1 win over Edmonton.

Mar 30 - 8:25 AM

Tomas Fleischmann will draw back into the Ducks lineup versus the Los Angeles Kings.

Fleischmann has played in just six games with the Ducks since being traded by Florida and has picked up a goal and an assist. He was a healthy scratch in the Ducks last game on Sunday but will replace Jiri Sekac in Wednesday’s game.
Mar 18 - 6:58 PM

Tomas Fleischmann is trying to adapt in Anaheim after getting traded there at the trade deadline.

Fleischmann is looking for a place to live which is never an easy part of getting traded but has the plum assignment of playing with Ryan Kesler and Jakob Silfverberg on the second line. Both like to shoot the puck which fits in with the game of Fleishmann who is a good passer. "I usually have more assists than goals," Fleischmann said. "I’m just trying to see the situations. If I think he’s in the better position to score, I just pass it off. A couple of coaches (in the past) don’t like it sometimes." He is worth taking in playoff pools despite having only 23 points, as the Ducks could go far if things break their way.
Mar 15 - 6:40 AM

Tomas Fleischmann scored his first goal as Duck on Friday night, but they fell to the Penguins 5-2.

It was a pretty rush and goal. Fleischmann simply led the rush up the left wing in the third period, fed it over to Jakob Silfverberg, who formed a screen with two Penguins defenders for Fleischmann to rip his first goal as a Duck through. He now has eight goals and 23 points on the season.
Mar 7 - 1:09 AM

Tomas Fleischmann will make his Ducks debut on the left wing along side of Ryan Kesler and Jakob Silfverberg on Tuesday night versus Arizona.

Through 52 games with the Panthers this season, Fleischmann has posted just seven goals and 21 points. That's some serious talent to re-energize one's career with, and it just might be his last chance to do so. The trio will be Anaheim's second line.
Mar 3 - 8:33 PM

Tomas Fleischmann is looking forward to being reunited with Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau.

Fleischmann used to work under Boudreau when they were both members of the Washington Capitals. "I'm just excited to play for him again," Fleischmann said. "I know what he can do. … He's a good players' coach. You always like to play for him. That's one of the reasons." He has seven goals and 21 points in 52 games this season with Florida. The Ducks acquired him in exchange for Dany Heatley and a third-round pick.
Mar 2 - 8:28 AM

Tomas Fleischmann won't be in the Ducks' lineup for Sunday's game against Dallas.

The Ducks decided against inserting their newest acquisition into the lineup. Rene Bourque and Eric Brewer will also watch the game from the press box.
Mar 1 - 7:58 PM

Tomas Fleischmann could suit up for the Ducks on Sunday.

The Ducks take on the Stars in Dallas and the team was expecting Fleischmann to arrive Saturday night. Coach Bruce Boudreau knows all about Fleischmann as he coached him in Washington. "It has been pretty obvious that we aren't skilled enough," Ducks general manager Bob Murray said. "(Fleischmann) brings skill and smarts." Look for Fleischmann to see second line duty alongside Ryan Kesler.
Mar 1 - 4:02 AM

The Anaheim Ducks grabbed Tomas Fleischmann from the Florida Panthers for Dany Heatley and a third-round pick.

"The Flash" hasn't enjoyed a great season with Florida, but he's shown flashes of brilliance in his NHL career, making him an intriguing piece in Anaheim. It doesn't hurt that he has money to earn, either.
Feb 28 - 2:39 PM

Tomas Fleischmann notched a goal and an assist to help Florida topple the Montreal Canadiens in Thursday night action.

The 30-year-old veteran boosted his output to 20 points this season with his performance. Fleischmann is also a +12 this season, much better than his -18 rating from last year.
Feb 19 - 11:23 PM

Tomas Fleischmann potted his sixth goal in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to Nashville.

He has a three-game point streak (one goal, two assists) after being a healthy scratch in three of the team's previous four contests. Fleischmann now has 16 points in 42 games.
Feb 9 - 10:58 AM

Tomas Fleischmann will watch from the press box Monday night against the New York Rangers.

Fleischmann had just dressed for the Panthers in their last game on Saturday, but that was his only game played since January 19th. He has recorded just five goals and eight assists in 39 games and isn't the fantasy player he used to be back in 2011-2012 when he registered 27 goals and 61 points. Tomas Kopecky and Jimmy Hayes will dress in place of Fleischmann and Scottie Upshall.
