"The first thing is that’s 700 the hard way, 700 means that he started when there was almost a fight a night," said head coach Paul Maurice. "Whether you got into one or not, that’s on his pedigree. The mental toughness to be willing to do what you need to do in that role is as demanding as any role in pro sports. I’ve never played that role, so I’m not sure where fear sits in it, but you certainly have an awareness and anticipation."
