The Toronto Maple Leafs acquired Joakim Lindstrom from the St. Louis Blues in exchange for a conditional sixth-round pick and Olli Jokinen.

Lindstrom has three goals and six points in 34 games in 2014-15. He's set to become an unrestricted free agent this summer after completing his one-year, $750,000 contract.

He has had a tough time cracking the lineup lately. Lindstrom had been a healthy scratch for the previous six games and for eight of nine contests. Despite his lack of playing time, he has no intention of going back to Sweden. "I'm definitely committed here," Lindstrom said. "I haven't had any thoughts of those. I'm here for the long haul, do whatever it takes to contribute to the team, whether it's playing 25 minutes or five minutes or whatever it takes to help the team." He has three goals and three assists in 29 games this campaign, while averaging 11:15 of ice time per match.
