Blake Comeau posted three assists with a plus-3 rating, three shots on goal and two hits in Tuesday's 5-3 win against the Stars.

Comeau needed a big performance, as he had managed just one goal and no assists over his first eight outings. Way until he starts to pick up the scoring pace on a more consistent basis before trusting him again in fantasy pools.

Blake Comeau buried his first goal of the season in Thursday's 4-3 loss to St. Louis.

Comeau has one point in eight games this year. He posted 20 points in 77 games with the Avalanche in 2016-17 and you shouldn't expect much offense from him.

Jan 13 - 9:47 AM

Blake Comeau sealed Colorado's 3-1 win over Toronto on Sunday night.

He scored into an empty net for a shorthanded goal from 150 feet away. "I was happy to see it go in," Comeau said. "Most of the empty-net goals are (one-man advantages). To get it on 6-on-4 for them and bunch of time on the power play was huge. At that point, you're just trying to get into shot lanes. You can't pressure." He has five goals this season, with two coming in the last two games.

Blake Comeau scored at the 19:47 mark of the first period, but that was all the offense the Colorado Avalanche could muster as they lost a 10-1 contest to the Montreal Canadiens Saturday night.

Comeau’s goal was the fourth of the season with an assist from Nikita Zadorov (his fourth) and Nathan MacKinnon (his 12th). About the only thing that can be said about this performance is that Comeau saved face for the team.

Blake Comeau scored and added five hits in a 3-2 loss to Columbus on Thursday.

It appeared Comeau had tied the game with just over 2:09 minutes left in regulation but it was called back due to a high stick. Samuel Henley recorded the other goal, the first of his career in his first game. It was a pretty ugly game for the Avalanche, which were outshot 37-20.

Blake Comeau will be back in the lineup from a groin injury on Tuesday against Los Angeles.

He has missed four games due to the ailment, which had been lingering for a while. "Since training camp, I've had issues with my groins, and I got to a point where I was just trying to make it through the game, rather than being able to play the way I need to play to help this team win," Comeau said. "I wasn't helping anyone out playing the way I was." He has one goal and one assist in 10 games this season.
