Thomas Greiss allowed three goals on 34 shots in a 5-3 win over the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Greiss gave up a 3-0 lead entering the third period but was still able to hold on for the win. He has now started three consecutive games, winning his last two, and has not allowed more than three goals in any of those starts. Of all the three goalies on the Islanders roster, it appears that Greiss gives them the best chance of winning. It will be interesting to see if coach Jack Capuano continues to roll with Greiss moving forward. The Islanders need to pick one goaltender and let him get comfortable in the crease instead of rotating all three of them. The win improves Greiss' record to 5-4-0, with a 2.47 goals against average and a .919 save percentage. Nov 30 - 11:15 PM
