Vlasic left Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury but apparently all is well as he was back at practice Monday. Vlasic refused to comment on the injury but said all is well now. "I’m OK today," Vlasic said. "It happened two days ago. I’m looking forward to tomorrow." He has three goals and seven points this season in 22 games and should be in your lineup in most pools. There was no update on Sunday as to the well-being of defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic.

Vlasic left Saturday's game with an undisclosed injury and since the Sharks did not practice Sunday, more will be known today when the Sharks take to the ice. Vlasic has three goals and seven points in 22 games with 26 minutes served in the penalty box but his real value in hockey is as one of the best all-round defensemen in the league.

There was no update after the Sharks' 3-2 loss to the Anaheim Ducks on Saturday. Vlasic got hurt and did not return during the contest. The severity and nature of Vlasic's injury is cloudy as of this writing.

It was the Sharks only power play of the evening as they snapped a 0-14 drought with the man-advantage. Vlasic has three goals and six points this season and the goal Saturday was his first on the power play. Look for a 35-40 point season from Vlasic this year.

Marc-Edouard Vlasic received a stolen puck from Joe Pavelski Tuesday night and scored the game winning goal in the 2-1 contest over the Anaheim Ducks at the 1:24 minute mark of overtime.

The Ducks won the OT faceoff and kept the puck in the Sharks end for more than minute. It took only the slightest bobble for Joe Pavelski to steal the puck, pass to Vlasic and chase him down the ice. This was Vlasic’s first goal of the season and his second point. Pavelski scored his sixth assist of the season and also had the first goal of the game at the 7:58 minute mark.

He played over nine minutes in the third period. Vlasic didn't come off the ice when there was 6:20 left in the third until Joe Pavelski sealed the win with an empty netter with 1:20 remaining. He finished the game with a plus-2 rating in San Jose's 4-2 victory.

Star defenseman Marc-Edouard Vlasic confirmed Monday that he will be in the San Jose Sharks' lineup when they open their first-round playoff series Thursday night against the Los Angeles Kings.

Vlasic missed San Jose's final 12 regular-season games because of a knee injury. On Monday, he went all out in the Sharks' practice alongside his regular defense partner, Justin Braun. "I'm looking forward to playing," Vlasic said. "Took the time to heal properly and now I'm ready to go."

Marc-Edouard Vlasic expects to be ready for the playoffs next week.

Vlasic has missed the final dozen games of the regular season due to an MCL sprain, which was unfortunate as he was in the midst of his best career season. Nevertheless, San Jose's top defender will be well-rested come crunch time.
