Apr 23 - 7:45 AM

As expected, Peter Mueller missed his fourth straight game on Sunday.

Mueller skipped the Panthers road trip to be with his wife, who gave birth to their son. He might play on Tuesday when the Panthers return home.
Apr 22 - 10:14 AM

Peter Mueller didn't play on Saturday and isn't expected to play on Sunday.

Mueller skipped the Panthers' road trip because his wife gave birth to their son. If he misses Sunday's game, he will have been absent for four contests as a result.
Apr 20 - 6:15 PM

Peter Mueller remains in Florida with his expecting wife and did not play Thursday night against the Rangers.

The Panthers will stay in the New York City area ahead of Saturday's game against the Devils. He could come north at any time, but his fantasy value is low enough that his absence shouldn't really affect most formats.
Apr 19 - 9:20 AM

Peter Mueller will not play Tuesday night in order to be with his wife, who is expecting the birth of their child.

Mueller left the team briefly last week to attend to his wife, who was thought to be on the verge of having their child at the time. If necessary, get him out of your lineups for tonight. Hopefully, we'll know more about his status Wednesday.
Apr 16 - 6:44 PM

Peter Mueller will be back in the Panthers' lineup Saturday after leaving the team for the birth of his child.

If you need Mueller, he is safe to activate.
Apr 13 - 10:13 AM

Florida GM Dale Tallon is confident that he will be able to re-sign Peter Mueller after this season.

Mueller agreed to a one-year, $1.75 million contract with the Panthers last summer. He has notched seven goals and 16 points in 37 games so far.
Apr 4 - 10:19 AM

After breaking out of a 15-game goalless drought with a marker in Saturday's game, Peter Mueller was held off the scoresheet in Sunday's 3-0 loss to the Islanders.

Let's hope it's not the beginning of another tough stretch for Mueller, as he did lead the team with four shots on goal in the contest. A minus-2 rating in the game won't do any favors for his fantasy owners and he'll hopefully find his way to the bench in most leagues going forward.
Mar 24 - 8:32 PM

Peter Mueller scored a goal in Florida's 2-1 defeat on Saturday.

Mueller ended his 15 game goal scoring slump. Tomas Fleischmann registered his 14th assist of the season.
Mar 23 - 9:53 PM

Peter Mueller contributed two assists and led the Panthers with seven shots in Sunday's 3-2 loss to Carolina.

He set up two tallies by rookie Jonathan Huberdeau, who leads all first-year players with 10 goals this campaign, and registered four hits as well. Mueller hasn't been remarkable this year, but he does have six goals and 11 points in 22 games while displaying some chemistry with Huberdeau which gives him some value.
Mar 4 - 3:16 PM

Peter Mueller played with Florida rookies Drew Shore and Jonathan Huberdeau in Tuesday's 6-5 overtime loss to Washington.

The trio combined for three goals and three assists in the contest, but the Panthers blew a two-goal lead late in the third period and ended up with the extra session defeat. "Things were clicking, and the puck was bouncing our way," Mueller said. "It was a tough one to swallow, but thank goodness for the shortened season because we have 48 hours to focus on our next opponent." Mueller has picked up four goals and seven points in 12 games with his new club. His play on the team's "Kid Line" could be something to keep an eye on.
Feb 14 - 9:31 AM

Peter Mueller has four goals in his past four games.

He was unable to find the back of the net in his previous four contests with the Panthers. While he won't maintain this kind of pace, Mueller could be a player to watch in deeper leagues if he can score at a decent clip this season.
Feb 5 - 8:32 AM

Peter Mueller has scored two goals in his last two games with Florida.

The new Panthers forward had been held goalless through the team's first four contests, but he appears to be heating up now. Mueller has 18 shots to his credit, so pucks were bound to start bouncing his way eventually.
Jan 30 - 11:11 AM

Peter Mueller scored the lone Panthers goal in their 7-1 blowout loss to the Flyers on Saturday night.

Mueller has the potential to be a very productive NHL player, but he's spent so much time off the ice over the past few seasons that he hasn't been able to get into the rhythm of a season. Ed Jovanovski had the assist on the goal.
