Bryan Little scored the overtime goal that lifted the Winnipeg Jets to a 3-2 win over the St Louis Blues Saturday night.

Little also had an assist on Patrik Laine’s game tying goal in the second period. This was both his second goal of the season and his second assist. Laine returned the favor in overtime by providing an assist on Little’s goal and since that was his seventh for the season on top of 16 goals, he is far more fantasy relevant.
Dec 4 - 12:16 AM

Bryan Little scored his first goal of the season during Thursday's 6-3 loss to the Oilers.

It was his second game back from injury, and he fired four shots on net in the effort. With two points in three-ish games, it would seem the veteran pivot hasn't missed a step.
Dec 2 - 2:33 AM

Bryan Little will return from a lower-body injury on Tuesday when Winnipeg hosts New Jersey.

He is projected to play between Blake Wheeler and Drew Stafford. Little hasn't played since the Jets' season opener when he recorded an assist against Carolina. Feel free to activate him.
Nov 29 - 12:30 PM

Bryan Little (lower body) has been upgraded to day-to-day.

However, he isn't expected to return before the end of Winnipeg's current road trip. The Jets will be back at home on Sunday versus Nashville. Little has been out of action since Oct. 13.
Nov 22 - 5:22 PM

Bryan Little continues to progress in his recovery from a lower-body injury.

He has been skating with more intensity this week and appears to be about a week to 10 days away from playing in games. Check back with us in a few days as to Little's status.
Nov 20 - 1:02 PM

Bryan Little (lower body) did some skating Thursday at the end of Winnipeg's morning skate.

He was sporting a non-contact jersey and did some extra work with the Jets scratches/injured players. It's unclear when he will be ready to return, but he appears to be making some progress.
Nov 17 - 1:04 PM

Bryan Little (lower body) has been placed on injured reserve.

He is retroactive to Oct. 13. Little was injured in Winnipeg's season opener and he hasn't played since. He could be back by the end of November, but there isn't a set timetable for his return.
Oct 28 - 10:29 AM

The Winnipeg Jets are hoping to get Bryan Little (lower body) back by the end of November.

Little hasn't played since Oct. 13 due to the injury. He had 17 goals and 42 points in 57 contests last season.
Oct 27 - 1:28 PM

Bryan Little (lower body) will miss an indefinite amount of time, per the Winnipeg Jets.

Obviously that's still a very vague, but when teams term a player as being out indefinitely as opposed to day-to-day or week-to-week, it tends to be a pretty bad sign. Little sustained the injury on Thursday and didn't skate on Friday.
Oct 14 - 2:06 PM

Bryan Little suffered a lower-body injury in Thursday's game against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Jets head coach Paul Maurice had no update on Little's status after the game. He's considered day-to-day at this point. The 28-year-old was limited to just 57 games last season because of a fractured vertebrae.
Oct 14 - 1:14 AM

Bryan Little admitted that it felt nice to score his first goal in over seven months.

Little found the back of the net in Thursday's preseason game and the reason it had been so long since he scored was because he suffered a fractured vertebrae in 2015-16. The injury cost him 25 games. "It felt good to score," said Little. "The first two games I was just trying to get my feet under me and trying to get used to the pace and the speed. (Thursday) night, I definitely felt a lot better and it definitely helped to get that goal to get some confidence before the season."
Oct 8 - 8:01 AM

Bryan Little may have slipped behind Mark Scheifele on the depth chart, but he still could have an opportunity to play with some talented players in 2016-17.

If Scheifele stays with Blake Wheeler and Nikolaj Ehlers, which is expected, then Little could skate between Drew Stafford and exciting rookie Patrik Laine.
Sep 22 - 7:13 AM

Bryan Little (upper body) might not be done for the season after all.

Little hasn't played since Feb. 18 and wasn't expected to return before the end of the 2015-16 campaign, but it seems he's been progressing quicker than expected. He took part in Wednesday's practice and was able to absorb some light contact. Regarding the possibility of playing again this season Little said, "It's tough to say. They're not going to put me in unless I'm absolutely 100 per cent and I don't want to play unless I'm absolutely 100 per cent. Everything feels really good right now... It's just a matter of everything being strong enough to take a hit."
Mar 30 - 3:50 PM

Bryan Little will miss the rest of the season with a compression fractured vertebrae.

Little will finish the season with 17 goals and 42 points in 57 contests. This has been a disappointing season for the Jets overall and losing Little will only increase their chances of finishing in the NHL's basement. As it is they're just four points ahead of the Toronto Maple Leafs and Edmonton Oilers. Winnipeg has summoned Matt Halischuk as a result of this injury.
