Michael Frolik will make his preseason debut on Sunday night.

He represented Team Czech Republic at the World Cup of Hockey prior to joining the Flames for training camp. Frolik generated 15 goals and 32 points in 64 games last season.

The Flames didn't provide an update on the status of Michael Frolik (lower body) on Monday.

He didn't skate on Monday and it's unclear when he will be back on the ice. Frolik has missed the last two games with a lower-body injury and it's uncertain if he will return during the final week of the season.

Michael Frolik (lower body) will miss Saturday's game in Edmonton.

It's the last time the Flames and Oilers will meet in the Rexall Centre as Edmonton will move to its new arena next season. Frolink suffered the injury Monday. Frolik has 15 goals and 32 points this season which is down from last season's 42 point effort in Winnipeg. He may not return this season.

Frolik will miss at least the final three games of Calgary's current road trip. Given that the Flames only have six contests left, any injury of even moderate significance suffered at this point could ultimately be season ending.

Michael Frolik had a goal and two assists to help the Calgary to a 4-1 win against the Jets on Wednesday.

Frolik has four goals and seven points in a three-game point streak. Joe Colborne had a goal and an assist while Sean Monahan scored his 24th in the win. Mikael Backlund also had two assists.

Michael Frolik was the first member of the Calgary Flames to record two shorthanded markers in a single game since 1998.

The last Calgary player to pull off that feat was Cory Stillman. Frolik also had an empty-netter on Monday to complete the unusual hat trick. Including Frolik, just four players in the Flames' history have managed to net two shorthanded goals in a single contest. He now has 14 goals and 29 points in 57 contests in 2015-16.

Frolik scored two short-handed goals and another into an empty net. It was Frolik's twelfth, thirteenth and fourteenth goals of the season, giving him a total of twenty-nine points in fifty-seven games played. Frolik had a team high seven shots on goal in the game.

Michael Frolik scored a goal and an assist in Friday's 5-2 win over the Canucks.

February marks the first month since November that Frolik has put more than one puck in the net. So he's not exactly providing the offense expected as a UFA signing last summer. Frolik now has 10 goals and 22 points on the campaign.

Michael Frolik returned to action on Saturday and replaced the injured Jiri Hudler on the second line.

Frolik missed 12 games with the upper body injury. He was playing alongside Sam Bennett and Mikael Backlund and picked up his 10th assist on the Flames only goal of the night. Frolik now has seven goals and 17 points in 31 games this season and is worth a look-see in deeper pools.

The Calgary Flames have activated Michael Frolik (upper body) from injured reserve.

The 27-year-old has missed 12 straight games, but he'll be back for tonight's Battle of Alberta. He has seven goals and 16 points in 30 games this season.

Michael Frolik (upper body) is probable for Saturday's tilt with the Oilers.

Frolik is on the injured reserve list and another move will need to be made to activate him. Frolik has seven goals this season but had the hat trick versus the Oilers on October 31 and is likely chomping on the bit to get back Saturday. "I feel pretty good," Frolik, who has not played since December 15, said. "I think I built the confidence a little bit with the hands, and now I feel kind of like normal. Obviously, you feel it at some points, but it’s not been getting worse. I think it’s ready to go. It’s a big game, so hopefully I can help the guys." Frolik has been practicing the last week and has 16 points in 30 games thus far.

Michael Frolik (upper body) is "very doubtful" for Wednesday.

However, coach Bob Hartley said that Frolik may play on Saturday or next week. He has been on the shelf since Dec. 15 with an upper-body injury.

Michael Frolik (upper body) was back at practice Saturday.

Frolik was injured on December 15 and has not played since. The former Jet inked a five-year contract in the off-season with Calgary and has seven goals and 16 points in 30 games thus far this season. Consider him day-to-day for now.
