Bob Sanguinetti will be a healthy scratch again on Thursday night against Los Angeles.

Sanguinetti hasn't played in an NHL game since the 2012-2013 season, so it's not looking promising for the former first round pick to turn his career around. He has two goals and four assists in 46 career games and isn't expected to be in the lineup in the near future, barring an injury.

Bob Sanguinetti will be in the press box Sunday evening when the Canucks visit the Anaheim Ducks.

Sanguinetti was just called up earlier in the day to add some depth to the blue line with Dan Hamhuis still unable to practice, but will be a healthy scratch Sunday versus the Ducks. The 26-year-old New Jersey native has yet to play in an NHL game this season and will have no fantasy value even if he does crack the Canuck lineup.

Bob Sanguinetti was a healthy scratch on Friday.

He was joined in the press box by Bo Horvat. Sanguinetti was drafted in the first round by the Rangers in 2006 but never made it in the NHL, playing only 45 NHL games before this season. Sanguinetti played in Russia last season with the KHL's Atlant team before returning across the pond to sign with Vancouver.

The Canucks have signed Bob Sanguinetti to a one-year, $600,000 contract.

Sanguinetti played in Russia in 2013-14 and really has been a disappointment in the NHL after being a first round pick of the Rangers in 2006. Needless to say, he has no fantasy value.

Bob Sanguinetti aggravated an upper-body injury during Thursday's game and is currently day-to-day.

Sanguinetti suffered the injury when he slid into the boards after drawing a tripping penalty midway through the third period. Although the Canes are only calling him day-to-day, Sanguinetti certainly looked to be in serious pain as he skated off the ice holding his left arm. Sanguinetti doesn't really have much fantasy value in most formats.

Bobby Sanguinetti had to leave the game against the Devils on Thursday due to an undisclosed injury.

Bob Sanguinetti scored his first NHL goal on Sunday.

To make matters better for Sanguinetti, who was playing in his 21st NHL game, the marker proved to be the game-winner against the New York Islanders. "That was a feeling I can't even describe right now," said Sanguinetti. "To finally score in the NHL and have it be a game winner is incredible. And I'm glad I scored it in New York." He was born in Trenton, New Jersey and drafted by the New York Rangers.

Updating an earlier item, Bob Sanguinetti returned to Thursday's game against Winnipeg after leaving with an apparent injury.

The blueliner was severely limping when he exited the game after blocking a shot in the second period so it's nice to see that he's alright.
