Date:

Ryan White (pectoralis muscle) should return in two weeks according to GM Ron Hextall.

This is way ahead of the expected February return that was thought when White underwent surgery in August to repair an injury that occurred during an off-season workout. The former Canadien inked a two-way deal during the off-season and will likely get some playing time in the AHL before the Flyers decide on whether or not he can help them this season. He had six points and 50 penalty minutes in 52 games for Montreal last season so you know he's not a top-six forward.
Dec 6 - 8:51 AM

Ryan White (pectoralis muscle) has resumed skating.

White isn't expected to return until February, so the fact that he's already back on the ice is very encouraging. Flyers coach Craig Berube cautioned that White is still a ways away from being able to play.

Aug 28 - 7:18 PM

Ryan White has agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.

He registered six points and 50 penalty minutes in 54 games last season with Montreal. If White earns a roster spot with the Flyers out of training camp then it will likely be on the fourth line or as an extra.
Aug 7 - 5:00 PM

Ryan White is waiting for his next opportunity after the Canadiens cut him loose.

"My agent is doing most of the due diligence. I'm waiting by the phone and seeing what's going on," said White. "As of now, we're just patiently waiting to see what the best opportunity is going to be." He said some teams have kicked the tires, but nothing appears to be imminent. White also might see what offers he can get from European clubs or from the KHL as well.
Jul 5 - 1:09 PM

Ryan White took part in Monday's practice on the fourth line.

Brandon Prust joined George Parros as an extra forward. Coach Michel Therrien wouldn't share his lineup thoughts for Game 3 on Tuesday, but the addition of White could be something to watch for.
