Aug 28 - 7:18 PM

Ryan White has agreed to a one-year, two-way contract with the Philadelphia Flyers.

He registered six points and 50 penalty minutes in 54 games last season with Montreal. If White earns a roster spot with the Flyers out of training camp then it will likely be on the fourth line or as an extra.
Aug 7 - 5:00 PM

Ryan White is waiting for his next opportunity after the Canadiens cut him loose.

"My agent is doing most of the due diligence. I'm waiting by the phone and seeing what's going on," said White. "As of now, we're just patiently waiting to see what the best opportunity is going to be." He said some teams have kicked the tires, but nothing appears to be imminent. White also might see what offers he can get from European clubs or from the KHL as well.
Jul 5 - 1:09 PM

Ryan White will be permitted to test the free agent market on July 1.

He accounted for six points and 50 penalty minutes in 52 games with Montreal last season. The Canadiens chose not to give him a qualifying offer, which makes him an unrestricted free agent.
Jun 30 - 5:29 PM

Ryan White took part in Monday's practice on the fourth line.

Brandon Prust joined George Parros as an extra forward. Coach Michel Therrien wouldn't share his lineup thoughts for Game 3 on Tuesday, but the addition of White could be something to watch for. He hasn't played in the 2014 playoffs yet and he dressed in 52 games with Montreal during the regular season.

Ryan White won't play Thursday because he has the flu.

He didn't make the trip to Pittsburgh for the contest. Consider him day-to-day for now.
Feb 27 - 4:44 PM

Ryan White had a goal and an assist in Saturday's 4-1 win over Carolina.

White has found the back of the net in back-to-back games. That's remarkably unusual for him when you consider that he had just three goals in his previous 123 contests.
Feb 9 - 10:41 AM

Ryan White potted his first goal of the season on Thursday.

White has played well for the Canadiens since returning from an upper-body injury. He posted a career-high of six shots against Calgary on Tuesday in his first game back. White has three points and 32 penalty minutes in 35 matches.
Feb 7 - 7:43 AM

Ryan White was activated from the IL on Tuesday February 4.

He made a surprise return to the lineup against Calgary after missing 14 games with an upper-body injury. White wasn't eased back into the lineup either, as he logged a season-high 13:55 of ice time and posted six shots in Montreal's 2-0 victory.
Feb 5 - 1:42 AM

Ryan White (upper body) is skating, but he isn't close to returning.

Canadiens coach Michel Therrien cautioned that it could be weeks before White is ready to play. He has two points in 32 games in 2013-14.
Jan 21 - 2:05 PM

Ryan White will not play against Chicago Saturday night.

He is still listed as day-to-day with an upper-body injury. We are sure you have better options than White on your fantasy roster.
Jan 11 - 10:45 AM

Center Ryan White suffered an upper-body injury Thursday night in the Canadiens' game against Dallas and almost certainly will sit out tonight, when Montreal visits Ottawa.

That means veteran Daniel Briere will return to the lineup after being a healthy scratch.

Ryan White earned an assist Saturday after being a healthy scratch for three of Montreal's last four games.

He skated alongside Brandon Prust and Travis Moen in a 3-2 win over Buffalo. The Sabres didn't dress John Scott, so coach Michel Therrien replaced George Parros with White.
