Patrik Berglund didn't disagree with head coach Mike Yeo's decision to make him a healthy scratch on Wednesday.

Berglund went into that game with just one goal in his last 12 outings and his overall play just hadn't been good enough. "I think it was the right call," admitted Berglund. "The only thing I can do is work harder and be ready when we get the chance next time. All that matters now is to get points, win games. You know, it was a really good feeling to see the boys, the way they fought through that game and got those two very important points."

Patrik Berglund will get a shot on the top line with Brayden Schenn and Vladimir Tarasenko.

The trio was put together in the third period of the Blues' last game and they combined to score a goal. "I’d like to get Bergy a shot there again," Yeo said Friday. "We put him up there in the third, and obviously they got the goal. And they looked like they had a little chemistry together. So I’d like to stick him out there (Saturday) and see how that goes." This move will obviously give Berglund a short-term fantasy boost.

"He looked good and so we'll re-evaluate in the morning, but we feel pretty confident he's ready to go here," said coach Mike Yeo after Tuesday's practice. St. Louis will need to make a roster move to activate Berglund from injured reserve. His return will instantly upgrade the third line of the Blues, but it may take some time before he is fantasy relevant again.
