Trevor Lewis opened Friday night's scoring in the first period with his eighth goal of the season, but the Kings eventually fell to the Ducks 4-2.
It was a pretty goal as Lewis bounced off a Francois Beauchemin check, walked out from the left corner, and stuffed it home through a Dustin Brown screen. Lewis continues to build on a career season, and now has 16 points in 52 games thus far. Feb 28 - 1:15 AM

Trevor Lewis scored the winner Saturday in a 3-1 win over Washington.

It was Lewis' seventh goal of the season and that's a career high for the forward who last scored on December 22, a span of 19 games. Lewis has 13 points and a plus-three rating this season so we really cannot recommend him in standard pools.

Trevor Lewis found the back of the net in the Kings' 4-3 overtime loss Monday night.

Lewis isn't primarily known for his offensive contributions, but he's now scored in back-to-back games. He has six goals and eight points in 26 contests in 2014-15.

Trevor Lewis was the biggest offensive bright spot for the Kings in Tuesday's 3-1 win over the Stars.

Lewis picked up a shorthanded goal to go along with an assist in the contest, which triples his season point total. Kyle Clifford and Dustin Brown also scored for the defending Stanley Cup champs in the win.

Trevor Lewis (upper body) has been activated off of the injured reserve list.

Lewis will make his return on Friday. This move was anticipated after it was revealed earlier this afternoon that the Kings were sending David Van der Gulik back to the minors.

Trevor Lewis (upper body) isn't sure if he'll be ready on Thursday.

Lewis suggested that caution was necessary to avoid potentially suffering a setback that might keep him out of the lineup for weeks. He hasn't played since Oct. 8.

Trevor Lewis (mid-upper body) participated in a full practice on Saturday.

Lewis was injured in the opener but Saturday was the first time that he was able to take part in a full practice. He will not play on Sunday but his return should be imminent. He did not participate in line rushes.

Trevor Lewis (mid-upper body) is still out of action.

Lewis played in the opener and has not played since. Consider him day-to-day for now as he has been placed on the injured reserve list.

Trevor Lewis has suffered an undisclosed injury.

To be (barely) more specific, Lewis' injury is actually classified as mid-to-upper body, so we can rule out a leg or foot problem at least. He won't be available on Saturday and should be regarded as day-to-day beyond that.

Trevor Lewis made the most of his ice time against San Jose on opening night. He lead the team with six shots on net while adding two hits in only 10:29 of ice time.

There wasn't much to like in the Kings boxscore on Wednesday night. They produced 34 shots as a team, but they were unable to get one past Antti Niemi.

Trevor Lewis has been a pleasant surprise for the Los Angeles Kings in their 2014 playoff run.

Lewis has four goals and five points in 13 games after netting just six goals in 73 regular season contests. He also accounted for the game-winning goal in Game 6 on Wednesday. "I have a lot of trust in Trevor," Kings coach Darryl Sutter said. "It doesn't matter if he is scoring or not. We can move him all over the lineup. He's played left wing the last two games, center the game before that, he played right wing every game before that."

Trevor Lewis scored the game-winning goal in the Kings' 2-1 win against Anaheim Wednesday night.

It was Lewis' first game-winner of the 2014 postseason and his second career game-winning goal in the playoffs. He has five points in 13 contests in the Kings' current run.

Trevor Lewis scored a goal in Los Angeles' 4-3 loss to Anaheim Monday night.

It was Lewis' first goal since April 20. He now has three goals and four points in 12 postseason contests in 2013-14. Those numbers might not sound like much, but keep in mind he had just six goals and 11 points in 73 regular season contests.

Trevor Lewis scored in his second straight game for the Kings on Sunday.

That's the good news. The bad news is that Lewis is the only Los Angeles forward to get the puck past Antti Niemi as the other three goals have been scored by defensemen. Lewis had only six goals and 11 points in 73 regular season games so this offensive outburst has come out of nowhere.
