The Chicago Blackhawks have recalled Pascal Pelletier from Rockford of the AHL.

The 25 year old has been having a nice season with Rockford with 27 goals and 51 points in 58 games. He played one game earlier in the season with Chicago with no stats. He has no NHL fantasy value at this time as he needs to be a top six forward to produce, something that is not going to happen in Chicago at this time.

Pelletier was recalled due to the one game suspension of Kris Versteeg. He has 13 goals and 21 points in 23 games this season after a 37 goal, 75 point season last year. Pelletier should return to the minors after the game, unless he gets a hat trick. He will line up with Colin Fraser and Craig Adams on the fourth line, while Ben Eager will grab Versteeg's spot for one game alongside Jonathan Toews and Dustin Byfuglien.

The Bruins returned Pascal Pelletier to Providence of the AHL on Friday.

Pascal Pelletier looked solid in his NHL debut.

The high-scoring minor-leaguer didn't get on the scoresheet, but had a couple of nice feeds. He played on an all-rookie line with David Krejci and Vladimir Sobotka. If he can play on one of the top lines in Bean-town, he may actually have some fantasy value. Until then, keep him on the waiver wire.

Pascal Pelletier has been recalled by the Boston Bruins.

Pelletier is the top goal-scorer in the AHL this season with 24. He also has 24 assists in 40 games. Should he see time among the top six forwards, he could surprise many with his offense.

General manager Peter Chiarelli and coach Claude Julien like what they see when it comes to rookie forward Pascal Pelletier.

This hard working forward isn't expected to crack the roster any time soon. However, his style of play and production with the AHL make him a viable candidate for future success. "He’s had a really good camp. He’s even probably above what was expected of him," said coach Julien. Should the bruins run into injury trouble during the season, look for this young forward as a call-up.
