Peter Harrold might serve as a right winger on Friday.

That's not something new for Harrold, even though his natural position is defense. If he does play as a right winger, then it will likely be on the fourth line.
Mar 6 - 11:09 AM

Peter Harrold was added to lineup as Lou Lamoriello has decided to go with seven defenders against the Blue Jackets on Tuesday night.

The pairs will be: Andy Greene with Adam Larsson; Jon Merrill with Damon Severson; Mark Fraser with Eric Gelinas; and Peter Harrold is expected to serve as the swing man. He could be used up front as well. Harrold has three points, 29 hits, and 36 blocks in 32 games this season.

Peter Harrold will be a healthy scratch for the Devils Wednesday night against Toronto.

Harrold hasn’t cracked the lineup since January 16th in Anaheim and has just one goal and zero assists in 19 games this season. His minus 11 rating has really hurt his chances at getting back in the Devils lineup going forward unless there is an injury on the blue line.
