According to Philadelphia GM Paul Holmgren, Nicklas Grossmann will probably miss the rest of the season because of a concussion issues.

"He has vestibular issues," Holmgren said, which means that Grossmann is having problems with his balance. Grossmann was injured on March 22 when he collided with a teammate at practice. He is great in leagues that count hits and blocks, but other than that he is a better player than fantasy asset.

Nicklas Grossmann has signed on to play with Swedish club Sodertalje, where he started his career.

Sodertalje also added Anaheim defenseman Cam Fowler to their roster on Wednesday thanks to fundraising from their fans, according to the Twitter page of Pro Hockey Magazine's Linus Hugosson. Last month it was reported that the second division team didn't have the funds to cover Grossmann's insurance costs. He will join Philadelphia teammate Matt Read, who has been suiting up with Sodertalje since early October. Grossmann is slated to make his debut on Saturday and play on a four-game contract.

Despite hobbling around on a bum knee, Nicklas Grossman will not need surgery.

Reports out of Sweden suggested that he may have to go under the knife to repair a knee injury sustained during the latter part of the season. However, Flyer GM Paul Holmgren said that was not the case as rest and rehabilitation will apparently be sufficient.
