Karri Ramo made 28 saves in a 4-1 win over Carolina on Tuesday.

Ramo helped the Flames snap a three-game losing streak in the process. He's been shaky at times this year and his numbers overall show it despite being the number one guy in Calgary. He brings his 17-17-1 record, 2.57 GAA and .911 save percentage in 35 starts into the next game.
Feb 4 - 3:34 AM

Calgary will start Karri Ramo Wednesday night.

Ramo has lost his last three games, but he's only allowed seven games over that span. He has a 2.62 GAA and .910 save percentage in 34 contests this season.
Feb 3 - 3:19 PM

Karri Ramo made 22 saves on 24 shots in a 2-1 loss to Nashville on Wednesday.

He gave his team a chance to win but that is now three straight losses for Ramo. He has had an up and down year and the numbers don't really lie in his case. He brings his 16-17-1 record, 2.62 GAA and .910 save percentage in 34 games into the break.
Jan 28 - 5:35 AM

Kari Ramo will get his fourth straight start when the Flames host the visiting Nashville Predators.

Ramo stopped 28 shots in a 2-1 loss to the Dallas Stars in his last start, sporting a 2.64 goals against average and a .910 save percentage and 16 wins.
Jan 27 - 6:19 PM

Karri Ramo probably deserved a better fate Monday night.

The Calgary goalie stopped 28 of the 30 shots he faced from the Stars but the Flames could score only once and the net result was a 2-1 loss for Ramo and his teammates in Dallas. Ramo was yanked from the Calgary net Sunday after allowing three goals on 19 shots. But he was solid Monday. His goals-against average even improved, to 2.64 from 2.66, and his save percentage went up to .910 from .909. His win-loss record, however, is back to .500, at 16-16-1.
Jan 26 - 12:07 AM

After being pulled in yesterday's game against Carolina, the Calgary Flames will turn to Karri Ramo in Monday's game against Dallas.

Ramo was yanked after giving up three goals on 19 shots after just 24 minutes of action. The 29-year-old has a 16-15-1 record with a 2.66 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage this season.
Jan 25 - 6:42 PM

Karri Ramo was pulled after allowing three goals on 19 shots in Sunday's 5-2 loss to Carolina.

It's hard to blame Ramo for any of the three goals (one was scored on a penalty shot). The 29-year-old gave up the three goals in just under 24 minutes of action. Ramo has a 16-15-1 record with a 2.66 goals-against-average and a .909 save percentage this season.
Jan 24 - 9:15 PM

Karri Ramo will get the start in goal for Calgary Sunday.

Ramo will get his second start in a row after Jonas Hiller played in three straight. Ramo was suffering from the flu at that time. Ramo is 16-14-1 with a 2.59 GAA and a .910 save percentage. Start him if you normally would.

Jan 24 - 8:15 AM

Karri Ramo's three-game break from the crease might not have been entirely based on Jonas Hiller's play.

Hiller was the Flames' goaltender of record from Jan. 13-19, but Ramo got back between the pipes on Jan. 21. Although Ramo served as the backup during Hiller's three-game stretch, Ramo was apparently battling a persistent flu. It sounds like that's behind him now though and Ramo is likely to start again on Sunday.
Jan 23 - 4:51 AM

Kari Ramo allowed two goals on 29 shots to help the Flames beat Columbus 4-2 on Thursday night.

Ramo snaps a two-game losing streak and improves his record to 16-14-1 with a .910 save percentage and 2.59 goals against average. Ramo's numbers have been fairly similar over the past three seasons.
Jan 21 - 11:05 PM

Karri Ramo will be the Calgary Flames' starter on Thursday.

Calgary has leaned heavily on Ramo this season, but Jonas Hiller got the nod in the Flames' previous three contests. Ramo has a 2.61 GAA and .910 save percentage in 30 contests in 2015-16.
Jan 20 - 4:41 PM

Karri Ramo allowed five goals on eighteen shots in the Calgary Flames 5-4 loss to the San Jose Sharks on Monday night.

With the loss, Ramo's record drops to 15-14-1, with a .910 save percentage and a 2.61 goals against average in thirty games played this season.
Jan 12 - 1:20 AM

Karri Ramo will make his 12th consecutive start Monday when the Sharks visit.

He is OK after he was struck in the throat by a shot during Sunday's practice. Ramo has played very well in his last three outings, while posting two wins and allowing just three goals.
Jan 11 - 4:22 PM

Karri Ramo suffered a scare during Sunday's practice.

Ramo was struck in the throat by a shot from Mason Raymond and had to leave the ice as a result. He was evaluated by the medical staff, but Flames coach Bob Hartley said Ramo's fine. Given that Ramo's played in 26 of Calgary's last 29 games, it would have been devastating for the team if he had been sidelined.
