Dan Girardi and Marc Staal will play for the first time in pre-season on Saturday.
The defensemen each had off-season surgery on their ankles and seem to be ready to go for the regular season. Girardi is the better fantasy pick of the two as he had 31 points last season with 224 hits and 184 blocked shots while Staal had only 20 points with 99 hits and 123 blocks.
