Brandon Dubinsky is still in coach John Tortorella's doghouse.

The center was a healthy scratch for two games before returning to the lineup Saturday as Lukas Sedlak was injured. But Dubinsky played only 5:59 and only one shift in the third and has now been unable to get a point in his last 18 games. With five goals and 15 points this season, Dubinsky is a non-factor in fantasy as well as on the ice.

Brandon Dubinsky will draw back into the Columbus lineup Saturday.

Dubinsky has been a healthy scratch the last two games but will regain his spot in the lineup with Lukas Sedlak out after he was hit in the head with the puck Thursday. Dubinsky has gone 17 games without a point and the chippy player will likely be going 100 miles-per-hour in an attempt to show coach John Tortorella that he belongs back in the lineup. He has five goals and 15 points in 55 games this season.

Jan 29 - 2:22 PM

Brandon Dubinsky, who is sidelined with a fractured orbital bone, is no longer with the Blue Jackets on their road trip.

Dubinsky's agent, Kurt Overhardt, said that his client temporarily parted ways with the Blue Jackets due to "medical issues" and he'll rejoin them after the All-Star break. Dubinsky had appeared to be close to returning and was practicing with the club, so the decision for him to leave now seemed odd. There was also a report from The Athletic that he left due to "ongoing personal issues," but Overhardt rejected that report.
Jan 24 - 12:23 PM

Brandon Dubinsky (fractured orbital bone) was on the ice Saturday.

He worked out with a couple of other injured Blue Jackets before the rest of the team took to the ice. Dubinsky should be out at least another few weeks as his diagnosis when injured on December 12 was six-eight weeks. He has three goals and 12 points in 31 games and does add penalty minutes to his totals when healthy.
Jan 7 - 8:21 AM

Brandon Dubinsky, who has a fractured orbital bone, has been moved to the injured reserve list.

That makes sense given that Dubinsky will miss the next six-to-eight weeks. The good news in all of this is that Blue Jackets GM Jarmo Kekalainen said that Dubinsky's long-term vision hasn't been impacted by this injury.
