He got the secondary helper on Drew Stafford's second goal of the match. It was Enstrom's first point of the season after going scoreless in his previous seven outings. Toby Enstrom wants to contribute more offensively this season.

"I need to do a little bit more offensively, I came away a little bit from that," said Enstrom. "It's all about winning and doing whatever it takes to win. This year, everybody feels a bit more comfortable with the system and that helps a lot. People have always been on me about shooting a little bit more and you know what, that's actually something I need to get better at." Enstrom has always been more of a passer. He is projected to skate with Dustin Byfuglien in Tuesday's exhibition game against Minnesota, but in the regular season Enstrom is expected to be back on the blueline with Tyler Myers.

Toby Enstrom (upper body) won't play Monday night.

Toby Enstrom (upper body) is traveling with the Jets.

"(Enstrom) came back better than he left, so we'll bring him and there's a chance he'll play on the road trip," coach Paul Maurice said Sunday. "We gotta see how he is tomorrow before we make any decisions on tomorrow night's game." Enstrom appeared to injure his left shoulder or arm on Saturday night after he got tangled up with Vancouver's Derek Dorsett.

Toby Enstrom was unable to finish Saturday's game against the Vancouver Canucks.

The Jets defeated the Canucks 5-4 but it came at a price. Winnipeg is already without Dustin Byfuglien (suspended) so losing Enstrom down the stretch could hurt them. The Jets and Kings are both tied for the final Wild Card spot in the Western Conference but the Kings hold the tie-breaker because they've won more games in regulation or overtime. Enstrom should be considered day-to-day right now.

His fourth goal of the season is also his third point in his past two games. The veteran blueliner has 18 points in 41 games this season, a long ways off being the fantasy force he was with the Thrashers from 2010-2012.
