Jakub Voracek feels that the Flyers did fine this season, but he wants more in 2018-19.
The Flyers got to the playoffs after missing it last year, but they lost in the first round. "For how many up and downs we went through during the year, I think we did a good job as a team sticking together," said Voracek. "We’ve gotta win at least a playoff series next year, but a lot of bright future, lot of guys that had great years, and hopefully we’re not that far off." Jakub Voracek was back on the top line during Tuesday's practice.

Voracek skated alongside Claude Giroux and Sean Couturier. Couturier's injury during the session may result in some additional changes prior to Game 4 on Wednesday night, but the reunion of Voracek and Giroux seems like it could be a possibility.

Voracek is on a three-game point streak as a result. The marker was also his 20th of the season and gives him 84 points in 81 games. While the big highlight has obviously been his assists, this is the fifth time in the span of six seasons that he's reached the 20-goal milestone.

Jakub Voracek found the back of the net in Thursday's 3-2 loss to the Boston Bruins.

Voracek gave the Flyers a 1-0 lead when he buried a power play goal at the 1:38 mark of the opening period. Flyers rookie Nolan Patrick set up the goal with a beautiful between-the-legs feed. Voracek finished the night with a minus-1 rating and five shots on goal in 17:27 of ice time. The 28-year-old is up to 16 goals and 73 points in 68 games this season. He has accumulated four points in his last four games. Jori Lehtera scored a shorthanded goal in the loss.

Voracek helped set up Nolan Patrick's power play goal in the second period before he added the game-tying goal (2-2) in the third frame and the overtime winner. He finished the game with an even rating and two shots on goal in 20:11 of ice time. The 28-year-old has accumulated 15 points in his last 13 games. He's up to 13 goals and an impressive 68 points in just 60 games. The Flyers forward is currently on pace to score a career-high 93 points in 2017-18.

Voracek is also tied for sixth in the league in points with 51. The NHL chose Claude Giroux to be the Flyers' lone representative and while he's certainly deserving of the honor, Philadelphia was a team with more than one player that's putting up All-Star worthy numbers.

Voracek had 81 points in 2014-15 and while he wasn't quite at that level in the two seasons that followed, he might end up topping his 2014-15 total this season. In 2017-18, he has eight goals and 51 points in 42 contests.
