After a shaky start to the 2015-16 campaign, Jakub Voracek has felt good about his game.

"I think since Game 17, 18," Voracek said. "I don't know what my points are since then, but I think I'm playing good hockey lately. I just have to keep going. I would say I'm at the same level as I was last year." For the record, Voracek had no goals and five assists in his first 16 games. Since then he's had eight goals and 31 points in 31 contests. We wouldn't be surprised if he stays at roughly a point-per-game for the rest of the season.

Jakub Voracek scored two goals, including the game winner in overtime, to help the Philadelphia Flyers upset the Capitals 4-3 in Washington Wednesday night.

Voracek scored his eighth goal of the season 38 seconds into overtime. He scored his seventh goal at 17:39 of the second period, giving the Flyers a 3-2 lead. Philly catapulted to a 2-0 lead on goals by Brayden Schenn (12th) and Ryan White (fifth) in the first period. That set up Voracek's heroics. Two Flyers finished the night with two assists -- Claude Giroux and Shayne Gostisbehere. Giroux, who set up both of Voracek's goals, now has 25 assists on the season. Gostisbehere now has 14 assists.

Jakub Voracek has a six-game point streak going into this week's action.

He scored a goal in Sunday's 4-2 loss to the Ducks to give him three markers and six assists during his point spree. Philadelphia's second line has been on a roll and the play of Voracek's turnaround has been a major reason for their success.

Jakub Voracek has been clicking with new linemates Sean Couturier and Wayne Simmonds.

"They seem to have some chemistry, regardless of who's in what spot," coach Dave Hakstol said. "They're finding each other, using each other pretty well, and in the [offensive] zone there's a little more puck possession with three guys that protect it pretty well and they generate some offense that way." Voracek stretched his point streak to five consecutive games on Monday with two assists against St. Louis. He has two goals and eight points during his hot streak.

Jakub Voracek extended his hot streak to four games on Saturday by scoring his third goal of the season.

Voracek now has goals in two of his last three games, and has six points overall during his streak. He's now shooting a paltry 3.1% this season, well below his 9.7% career average. He also now has 21 points on the season.

Jakub Voracek had a goal and two assists in Tuesday's 4-3 overtime win over Carolina.

Voracek had just one goal and 16 points coming into tonight's game. The Flyers will be thrilled that he was able to produce in his first game of the season at left wing. Voracek tied the game at one at the 23 second mark of the second period and he picked up the primary assists on goals by Sean Couturier and Shayne Gostisbehere (overtime winner). Voracek has two goals and 19 points in 31 games this season.

Jakub Voracek is okay with the shift from the right to left wing.

"I have one goal in 30 games," he said. "I’ve got to find a way. It doesn’t matter where I play." The Flyers are naturally hoping that change will help spark Voracek. He had 81 points in 82 contests in 2014-15, but he has just 16 points in 30 games so far this season. We don't expect this shift to last, but perhaps it's what Voracek needs in the short-term.

Jakub Voracek has been moved to left wing by the Philadelphia Flyers in an attempt to spark the 26-year-old.

Voracek is keeping a healthy attitude about the situation and is looking forward to a new experience playing at left wing. The habitual right-winger has just one goal and 16 points in 30 games this season. The slumping forward will look to improve on his three points in his last five games on Tuesday against the Carolina Hurricanes.

Jakub Voracek recorded an assist in a 3-1 loss to the New York Islanders on Wednesday.

Voracek had a terrible start to the season, but he seems to have thawed out lately. He still has just 12 points in 22 contests, but seven of those points have come in his last six games.

Jakub Voracek had two assists in a 3-2 overtime win against Carolina.

Voracek has now recorded at least two points in three of his last five games. He got off to a sluggish start this season, but that could also be said for Philadelphia's offense as a whole. Regardless, the Flyers need more from Voracek than they were initially getting from him and it will be a huge boost to them if he's turned a corner.

Jakub Voracek is slated to start Monday's game with Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Chris VandeVelde.

That is Philadelphia's fourth line. Claude Giroux is projected to play between Michael Raffl and Brayden Schenn. Voracek's demotion probably won't last very long and he'll likely still see power-play time, but he isn't upset with the decision.

Philadelphia has scored two or fewer goals in four of its last five games.

That's part of a much longer trend as the Flyers are averaging a league-worst 1.79 goals per game. "We try to score goals but we got to be patient," Jakub Voracek said following San Jose's 1-0 overtime win against Philadelphia on Thursday. "The games are going to look more and more like that. We had a few chances. They had a few chances. The goalies were outstanding." Voracek has become the poster child for the Flyers' offensive woes as he has just one goal and nine points in 19 games this season. That being said, he did have four points in two contests prior to this shutout, so perhaps we're seeing the beginning of his comeback.

Jakub Voracek picked a great time to finally score his first goal of the season.

Voracek's goal came 37 seconds into overtime to lead Philadelphia to a 3-2 victory over Carolina. He also had an assist Saturday night, giving him seven points in 17 games this season. That's still a far cry from what we expected of him, but perhaps ending his goal scoring drought will serve as a catalyst for him.

Jakub Voracek has yet to score in 16 games this season.

Voracek has only five assists after finishing fourth in NHL scoring last season. Linemate Claude Giroux knows what his teammate is going through as Giroux was goalless in his first 15 games last season. "It was the worst moment of my life," Giroux recalled on Friday. "It becomes mental and physically, you feel good and want to play good and you think you are doing the right things and it’s just that one goal. You get that, you can have a breather. He’s been playing great the last few games and he’s been a great leader for us." Voracek is a great buy-low candidate if you can pry him from some disgruntled owner.
