If not, we can always go back." Couture is tied with Joe Thornton for second on the team in points with 51, two back of Pavelski's leading 53. Logan Couture recorded two assists in Thursday's 5-1 win over Vancouver.

Couture's 27th assist of the season was actually a deflected shot gone wide that Matt Irwin picked up and zipped past Ryan Miller to open the scoring. And his 28th, which came on the power play, came when Joe Pavelski put one off of a Canuck and past Miller to make it 3-0. But you know they say, have to be good to be lucky. Couture sits just two points shy of Joe Pavelski for the team lead through 53 games thus far.

Logan Couture scored a beauty of a snapper for his 13th goal of the season in San Jose's 4-3 win over Edmonton on Thursday night.

After Barclay Goodrow drew four, yes four, Oilers to him at the offensive blue line, Goodrow sprung Couture into the zone where he released a deceptive cross-ice snapshot below the dot. Scrivens barely moved. Couture now shares the team lead in points with 28 with Joe Thornton.
