Riley Nash would like to re-sign with the Boston Bruins.
"I’ve been around for a while, so winning is going to be one of my top priorities," said Nash. "If they see a fit here, then I’ve truly enjoyed my two years here, it’s been awesome and I’d love to come back. I think they have one of the best teams coming up with the young players and the veteran leaders, so this has been a good fit for the last two years. We’ll see if we can figure something out." That being said, Nash might not fit into the Bruins' cap. He came with a $900K cap hit in 2017-18, but he's due for a big raise after scoring 15 goals and 41 points in 76 games this season. May 10 - 5:29 AM

Riley Nash can become an unrestricted free agent in July.

May 8 - 9:26 AM

Riley Nash will be back in the lineup on Sunday afternoon in Game 5 against Tampa Bay.

Nash was scratched for Game 4 because coach Bruce Cassidy has not been satisfied with his play. He may not be back to full health after he returned from a puck to his ear and he is slated to play on the fourth line on Sunday.
May 6 - 2:13 PM

Riley Nash was scratched in Game 4 partly due to performance.

Nash hasn't appeared to be the same since he returned from taking a puck to the ear late in the regular season. "He can only answer that," said coach Bruce Cassidy. "I don't want to beat him up, but he hasn't performed at the level he did or he'd still be in there. And I'm not telling you something you don't know." If he's healthy then there's a chance he could draw back in for Game 5 on Sunday afternoon.

Riley Nash (undisclosed) is not expected to be in the lineup for Game 4 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.

Nash chipped in one assist in his fifth appearance of the series. He had the lone helper on Brad Marchand's empty-netter. Nash has three helpers in 11 career playoff matches.
Apr 26 - 9:33 AM

Riley Nash has done a remarkable job filling in for Patrice Bergeron throughout the season.

Nash also had to fill in for Bergeron in Game 4 against Toronto on Thursday night. Despite Bergeron being one of their best players, the Bruins have a 13-5-2 record when he's out of the lineup. A lot of that has to do with Nash's ability to step up. "He’s been a real good player for us. I don’t know if I’d call him an unknown, but he’s a guy that’s really elevated his game this season as it’s went along," Bruce Cassidy said of Nash. "Some of that has been opportunity. When Bergeron goes out, he has a chance to play with Marchand and Pastrnak. You saw it. He’s done a really good job when we’ve put him in there. He’s had a little bit more of an opportunity to have an offensive role."

This news makes him an intriguing option in daily fantasy leagues.

Riley Nash (upper body) is unlikely to play in Game 2 against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Saturday night.

Nash has missed each of Boston's last five games and it sounds like a sixth one is on the way. The Bruins forward was injured when he took a puck to the ear. It took 40 stitches to close up the wound. "My ear was kind of hanging on for dear life so I was happy to have it. It was a little scary but we play this game and we love this game and when you sign on you take the risks. Obviously it was a freak accident but stuff happens and you move on," Nash said on Friday. He's still considered day-to-day at this point.
