Anton Khudobin out-dueled Cam Ward in Thursday's 2-1 shootout victory over Carolina.
Khudobin turned away 29 of 30 shots, including two of three on the kill. He'd go on to stop two of three in the shootout as well for his first victory of the season. He's now 1-3 with 11 goals against and a .902 save percentage. Dec 1 - 11:25 PM

The Bruins have tabbed Anton Khudobin for Thursday's match against the Hurricanes.

Three games, three losses, and just 10 goals against for the veteran backup so far this season. While that's not much of a sample size, it does indicate that his play hasn't dipped at all since his age turned to 30.
Dec 1 - 6:33 PM

Anton Khudobin stopped 27 of 29 shots in Friday's 2-1 loss to the Calgary Flames.

Because he's the backup and because he was dealing with an upper-body injury, this was Khudobin's first start since Oct. 22. He still doesn't have a win this season, as his record dropped to 0-3-0 with the loss. He has a 3.41 goals-against-average and a .878 save percentage. He has no fantasy value.
Nov 25 - 10:58 PM

Anton Khudobin will get his first start since Oct. 22nd on Friday against Calgary.

Khudobin allowed 11 goals during his three-game conditioning stint with AHL Providence before being recalled tonight. He's 2-0 with eight goals against up in the bigs this season.
Nov 25 - 7:09 PM

Boston has summoned Anton Khudobin from his conditioning stint with AHL Providence.

Khudobin played three games with Providence during the stint, allowing 11 goals. Which isn't pretty, but cut him some slack given his time away from the ice. The Bruins need him to just be an average goalie in relief of Tuukka Rask, anyway. He's 2-0 with eight goals against up in the bigs this season.
Nov 25 - 4:27 PM

If Anton Khudobin is called up from the minors on Friday then he could be in goal for Boston against Calgary.

Tuukka Rask made his seventh straight start Thursday night and could certainly use the rest. Khudobin has played three games with Providence after recovering from a hand injury.
Nov 25 - 7:26 AM

Anton Khudobin will stay in Providence of the AHL for a little longer.

He may play again on Wednesday and then the Bruins will make a decision. He appears to be ready to rejoin to the big club after recovering from a hand injury.
Nov 22 - 1:43 PM

Anton Khudobin made 34 saves for Providence in a 5-4 shootout win Saturday afternoon.

It was a rehab start for the Bruins' backup netminder who seems to be over a hand injury that has kept him sidelined for the last three weeks. We expect Khudobin to be recalled from the AHL and activated sometime next week.
Nov 20 - 7:50 AM

The Boston Bruins have sent Anton Khudobin (hand) to AHL Providence on a conditioning stint.

This further indicates that Khudobin is nearing his return from injury. He's been dreadful in two games, allowing eight goals so far this season. But it wasn't that long ago he was a competent backup for the Bruins, back in 2012-13 he posted a 9-4-1 with a .920 save percentage and a 2.32 GAA.
Nov 19 - 4:57 PM

Anton Khudobin (hand) is expected to be cleared to return shortly.

"I still have to talk to the doctors, but I felt great today," Khudobin said after Wednesday's skate. "Full practice for the first time I think since I got injured, so I felt the puck and everything and felt great. But I'm not the doctor, so I have to talk to the them." He has been sidelined with a hand injury since the end of October.
Nov 17 - 9:23 AM

Anton Khudobin (upper body) will travel with the Bruins on the team's upcoming road trip.

He has been sidelined for nearly three weeks, which was his original timetable to return from what is believed to be a hand injury. Perhaps he will be available at the end of the road swing.
Nov 11 - 7:41 AM

Anton Khudobin skated before the Bruins' practice on Saturday.

Khudobin, who has been out of action since October 25th with an upper-body injury, took a few twirls around the arena before the Bruins' scrimmaged. That's a good sign he is recovering but he will likely miss another 10-14 days.
Nov 6 - 9:40 AM

Anton Khudobin will be out of action for three weeks with an upper-body injury.

He was hurt during Monday's practice, which prompted the emergency recall of Malcolm Subban, who will start Tuesday because number one goalie Tuukka Rask is also injured.
Oct 25 - 1:54 PM

Anton Khudobin sustained an injury Monday early into Boston's practice.

He appeared to suffer a hand/wrist/lower arm injury, so the Bruins recalled Malcolm Subban on an emergency basis. His status for Tuesday's game is uncertain at this time, but we should know more after Boston's morning skate.
Oct 25 - 9:39 AM

After being perfect in the first period, Anton Khudobin let in doubles during the second and third periods as the Boston Bruins lost Saturday night’s contest 4-2 to the Montreal Canadiens.

Tuukka Rask was out for the second time this season due to soreness, leaving the net available for Khudobin to make his second start of the season. After a strong showing in the first period, Khudobin let in two goals at full strength during the second, both times with limited defense from his own team. During the third, he was shocked by a fast breakaway by Bruin’s Paul Byron while his team was on the power play.
