Artem Anisimov has potted five goals in his last three games.
Ansismov has been hot this month with seven goals and one assist in eight November contests. "My start of the season was not great," he said. "But I keep working hard and be focused and say, 'OK, November. I'm going to step up in November and forward.'" It has certainly helped that he's been back playing alongside Patrick Kane of late. The game was tied at 1-1 heading into the third period, but that's when Anisimov went off. The Blackhawks center scored at the 1:07, 5:14 and 16:12 marks of the third period to help his team come away with the victory. Anisimov finished the night with a plus-2 rating and five shots on goal in 18:25 of ice time. He's now up to nine goals and 11 points in 19 games this season.

Nov 5 - 9:50 PM

Artem Anisimov scored the game-winning goal in Chicago's 2-0 win over Minnesota on Saturday.

Anisimov scored the first goal of the game at the 14:18 mark of the third period while the 'Hawks were on the power play. Teammates Alex DeBrincat made it 2-0 late in the game with an empty-netter. Anisimov now has five goals and two assists in 14 games this season. He's found the back of the net in each of the last four games.
Nov 5 - 12:28 AM

Artem Anisimov had to re-learn the center position after head coach Joel Quenneville shook up the lines and took Patrick Kane off his wing.

Kane was usually the one dominating the puck and leading the rush, a task usually assigned to the center ice position. Anisimov let Kane do his thing and focused mostly on banging in rebounds and being defensively responsible. "I feel much better because I have the puck more, and I make more plays and feel confident," Anisimov said. "I carry the puck more through the neutral zone [now] and just try to make plays and be responsible in all zones." Understandably, Anisimov's point total has dropped since Kane was removed from his wing, but the talented Russian center has still managed to pick up six points in 13 games this season playing alongside Patrick Sharp and John Hayden. Anisimov would only warrant fantasy consideration if he is placed on a line with Kane again.
Nov 4 - 11:38 AM

Artem Anisimov scored a goal and an assist in Wednesday's 3-0 win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

He's now found the back of the net in three consecutive games. Anisimov's power play goal at the 8:58 mark of the second period gave the 'Hawks a 1-0 lead at the time. He also picked up an assist on Alex DeBrincat's empty-netter in the final two minutes of regulation. Anisimov finished the game with a plus-1 rating and five shots on goal in 16:48 of ice time. The Blackhawks forward has four goals and two assists in 13 games this season.

Oct 11 - 9:11 AM

Oct 9 - 11:45 AM

Artem Anisimov may start the regular season as Chicago's third-line center.

It looks like Nick Schmaltz will take over the second-line role, but if that happens then Anisimov won't mind. "I expect a lot to happen [in camp], and my mind-set was to be ready for -anything," he said. Anisimov could also see a larger role on the penalty kill if he drops to the third unit.
Sep 18 - 11:39 AM

Artem Anisimov (lower body) is expected to be back in the lineup for Game 1 against Nashville.

"I don't know if [there is any] doubt at all," coach Joel Quenneville said. "He's good to go." Anisimov has been out of action since Mar. 14 due to a lower-body injury. He recorded 22 goals and 45 points in 64 games during the 2016-17 campaign. Look for Anisimov to be back between Patrick Kane and Artemi Panarin on Thursday night.
Apr 10 - 10:18 AM

Artem Anisimov (lower body) will miss Chicago's final two regular season games.

Anisimov has resumed skating though, so he might be back in time for the playoff opener. He'll finish the regular season with 22 goals and 45 points in 64 games.
Apr 6 - 4:28 PM

Artem Anisimov (lower body) is expected to start skating again on Monday.

Out since March 15th with the ailment, this a positive sign that the veteran pivot will be able to assist the Blackhawks come playoff time. Anisimov has 22 goals and 45 points in 64 games in 2016-17.
Apr 2 - 1:36 PM

Blackhawks coach Joel Quenneville thinks Artem Anisimov (lower body) will be ready for the postseason.

Anisimov was projected to miss three-to-four weeks as of March 15, so it would be a small victory if he plays at all for the rest of the regular season. Anisimov has 22 goals and 45 points in 64 games in 2016-17.
