Chris Porter, Chris Butler and Carl Gunnarson will be healthy scratches for Thursday's game against Calgary.

More importantly, the Blues will be without Alexander Steen and Vladimir Tarasenko because both have suffered injuries. The Blues still have plenty of talent on their roster but it may be difficult to produce without those two players.

Chris Porter will be a healthy scratch in Tuesday's game against Winnipeg.

Porter has just one goal and one assist in 15 games this season. Olli Jokinen (upper-body), Jay Bouwmeester (illness) and Zbynek Michalek (concussion) will miss the game due to injuries.
Mar 10 - 8:05 PM

Chris Porter, Chris Butler, and Joakim Lindstrom will be scratched on Saturday night against the Edmonton Oilers.

There isn't a whole lot of fantasy value here as Porter has just 15 games to his credit this season, and one in 2015. Lindstrom has played just six of his 34 games in the new year, he also has six points. While Butler has six points himself with 15 PIMs, and 34 blocks through 24 games this season.

Chris Porter, who has been out of action with a leg injury since December 30th, is set to return to practice.

Good news for Porter and the Blues but of little consequence for fantasy players.
Feb 7 - 1:48 PM

Chris Porter (leg) has had his cast removed.

Porter is walking normally now, so he'll be re-evaluated on Monday. It's still not clear how close he is to returning, but this is an encouraging step in the right direction.
Jan 28 - 3:51 PM

Chris Porter suffered a leg injury during Monday's game.

Porter won't even be re-evaluated for six weeks, so it's clearly a major injury. He's been placed on the injured reserve list. Porter has a goal and an assist in 14 contests.

Chris Porter will get a great opportunity Saturday night against the Stars.

He will skate on a line with star winger Vladimir Tarasenko and Jori Lehtera. That's quite a promotion from being a healthy scratch in six of the Blues' last nine games. Joakim Lindstrom will sit in the press box to give Porter the chance to dress.

Chris Porter notched his first two points of the season to contribute to the St. Louis Blues' 4-2 victory over the visiting Florida Panthers Monday night.

Porter is what the Blues call an energy player and he has virtually no fantasy value but he certainly had value for the Blues Monday, tipping in their game-winning goal at 18:06 of the third period. Paul Stastny sealed the deal with his sixth goal of the season, shot into an empty net at 19:28 of the third. Maxim Lapierre (second) and Ian Cole (third) also picked up goals for St. Louis.

Chris Porter will be on the ice Wednesday when the Blues visit the Blackhawks.

Porter will play the wing alongside Maxim Lapierre and Ryan Reeves to form a very big and tough foruth line for the Blues. Porter has zero points in eight games this year. Magnus Paajarvi and Joakim Lindstrom will both be healthy scratches once again.

Chris Porter will be in the Blues' lineup against the Predators Saturday night.

He will play on the team's third line alongside Patrik Berglund and Joakim Lindstrom. Porter has no fantsasy value, although St. Louis coach Ken Hitchcock is excited to have an energy player like Porter back in the lineup. Magnus Paajarvi will be a healthy scratch to accomodate Porter's insertion into the lineup.

Chris Porter, who was a healthy scratch for the Blues' season opener on Thursday, will draw back into the team's lineup for Saturday night's contest.

Maxim Lapierre will sit in the pressbox to accommodate Porter. As neither of these fourth-liners have any fantasy value, the switch in the lineup will have no hockey pool impact.
