The goal was originally thought to be scored by defenseman Ryan McDonagh, but after a review it was given to Pyatt on the tip. The Rangers carried a 1-0 lead into the third period, but the Bruins netted two goals in the final frame to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. Green was assessed a penalty for cross-checking Dorsett in retaliation, which angered the Capitals. "That play to me is the one that does concern me because it looked like a slew-foot to me and obviously that's why Mike reacted," coach Adam Oates said. "Mike's not that type of player, and you're watching it. To me it looks like a slew-foot. Very dangerous play.
