Jonas Hiller made 34 saves in the Flames’ 4-1 win against the Canucks on Saturday night.

Hiller was making his first start since Jan. 24. With Karri Ramo playing well, it’s unlikely this will help him get more down the road. Hiller has a 3.16 GAA and .882 SV%.
Feb 7 - 12:52 AM

Jonas Hiller will face Vancouver on Saturday night.

It's been a trying season for Hiller who through 11 starts and 14 games has not been reliable. The veteran netminder has posted a 5-5-1 record with 41 goals against and an .882 save percentage. Yikes.
Feb 6 - 8:54 PM

Jonas Hiller allowed two goals on 17 shots in a relief appearance in Sunday's loss to the Hurricanes.

Hiller picked up a no-decision in this one after starter Karri Ramo was pulled in the second period. Hiller has a 3.16 goals-against-average and a .882 save percentage this season. He has a record of 5-5-1 in 14 games in '15-16.
Jan 24 - 9:17 PM

Jonas Hiller allowed three goals on 25 shots in Calgary's 4-2 loss to the Devils.

The 33-year-old's record drops to 5-5-1 with a 3.15 goals-against-average and an .882 save percentage. Hiller seems to have fallen out of favor in Calgary as the Flames have consistently turned to Ramo over the last month. In his last six starts, Hiller has allowed three or more goals four times (3-2-1).
Jan 19 - 10:28 PM

Jonas Hiller will face New Jersey on Tuesday night.

Hiller made 36 saves during Saturday's 2-1 shootout loss to Edmonton, and clearly impressed Coach Bob Hartley enough to warrant an extended look. Also, he's been riding Karri Ramo pretty hard the last two months and could probably use some extra rest.
Jan 17 - 3:10 PM

Jonas Hiller made 36 saves in the Flames’ 2-1 shootout loss to the Oilers on Saturday night.

Hiller gave up a goal to Sam Bennett midway through the first period and allowed the only goal in the shootout, to Teddy Purcell. In receiving the last two starts, Hiller has given up one goal on 52 shots. He could get another look Tuesday at the Devils. Hiller has a 3.16 GAA and .882 SV%.
Jan 17 - 1:07 AM

The Calgary Flames will start Jonas Hiller on Saturday.

Hiller only made 15 saves on Wednesday, but that's all that was asked of him in Calgary's 6-0 victory. He's largely been Karri Ramo's understudy this season, but this will be Hiller's second straight start.
Jan 15 - 6:22 PM

Jonas Hiller had to make just 15 saves in a 6-0 win over Florida on Wednesday.

It was Hiller's first start since December 12 and it was an easy one for him. It has been a half season of injuries and inconsistent play for Hiller. Maybe this is the start that gets him in the right frame of mind for a run. He has a 5-4 record with a 3.40 GAA and .870 save percentage in 11 games.
Jan 14 - 3:46 AM

Jonas Hiller will get the nod for Calgary on Wednesday versus Florida.

Hiller's last start came back on Dec. 12 in a 5-4 overtime win over the New York Rangers. He owns a 4-4-0 record this season with an .862 save percentage and a 3.76 goals-against average. Hiller has allowed three goals or more in seven of his 10 appearances.
Jan 13 - 1:47 PM

Jonas Hiller made 25 saves in the Flames’ 5-4 overtime win against the Rangers on Saturday night.

Hiller and the Flames didn’t make things easy. In a five-goal third period, the Flames’ 4-1 lead evaporated as the Rangers scored three goals in a row to send it to overtime. Hiller has given up seven goals over his past two starts. He has a 3.76 GAA and .862 SV% this season.

Jonas Hiller may also have the flu.

The bug is going through the Flames dressing room and Karri Ramo has already been stricken. Hiller played on Thursday but was ill and could not participate in the post game interviews. "You should’ve been in the locker-room around 5:30, quarter-to-6, when the medical staff runs in the coach’s office saying, ‘Guys are puking everywhere,’ " coach Bob Hartley said. "You have Karri Ramo in the laundry room and you have Jiri Hudler in the doctor’s room and they’re throwing up and they’re white like ghosts. Suddenly you look at Jonas Hiller and he’s coming in, and he’s whiter than a snowman." It is unknown who will get the start on Saturday but you can be sure it will be the least sick netminder.

It sounds like Jonas Hiller was still dealing with an illness during Thursday's 4-3 victory over Buffalo.

Hiller was so sick that it sounds like he skipped the postgame interviews because he couldn't keep down his lunch any longer. He wasn't expected to start, but Kari Ramo ended up being even sicker than him before the start of the contest. Despite his condition Hiller stopped 27 of 30 shots and got the win.

Many expected Kari Ramo to get the start tonight, but the Flames decided to go with Hiller at the last minute.
