Mar 5 - 3:52 PM

Alex Goligoski will not travel with the Coyotes to Edmonton because his wife, Amanda, is expecting the birth of their second child.

Arizona has recalled Andrew Campbell from Tucson of the AHL as insurance for Monday's game versus the Oilers. Consider Goligoski day-to-day for now.
Mar 4 - 3:18 PM

Alex Goligoski netted a power play goal in Sunday's 3-1 loss to the Vancouver Canucks.

Derek Stepan's shot was blocked by a Canuck, but it bounced right to Goligoski, who buried it past Vancouver's Jacob Markstrom. Unfortunately for the Coyotes, that was the only goal they managed to score in the game. Goligoski finished the night with four shots on goal and one hit in 26:02 of ice time (he played almost two minutes more than any other Coyote). He now has nine goals and 30 points in 61 games this season.
Feb 26 - 12:25 AM

Alex Goligoski picked up a power-play goal midway through Tuesday's 2-1 win at San Jose and it stood up as the game-winning tally.

Goligoski has scored in three consecutive outings, and he has registered three goals with seven points and a plus-4 rating during his current five-game point streak. He'll look to extend the streak in Thursday's home game against the Montreal Canadiens.
Feb 14 - 2:47 AM

Alex Goligoski picked up a goal with an assist and a plus-2 rating with one blocked shot and four hits in Monday's 6-1 win over the Blackhawks.

Goligoski started out a bit slow this season, and he had a six-game scoreless drought from Jan. 16-Feb. 3. However, he is starting to make up for lost time with two goals and six points with a plus-3 rating during his current four-game point streak. Despite the current run he is only worth a look in deeper fantasy pools since he still has a poor minus-22 rating overall.
Feb 13 - 12:33 AM

Alex Goligoski (illness) took part in Monday's practice.

Goligoski wasn't able to play on Thursday due to the disease. The Coyotes aren't scheduled to play until Thursday and it seems fair to believe he'll be available for that game.
Jan 30 - 9:18 AM

Alex Goligoski (illness) won't play in Thursday's game against the Blue Jackets.

Goligoski will get the All-Star break to recover from whatever illness is plaguing him. He has five goals and 22 points in 49 games this season. Freddie Hamilton and Josh Archibald will serve as healthy scratch in Thursday's tilt.
Jan 25 - 9:02 PM

Alex Goligoski lit the lamp for his fourth goal of the season while posting a plus-2 rating in Wednesday's 3-1 victory in Colorado.

Goligoski has always been an above-average offensive defenseman, and he has started to pick up the pace lately. The rearguard has posted a goal with four points and a plus-3 rating over his past four outings. His fantasy appeal remains limited to deeper seasonal pools at this time, but he isn't a bad low-cost DFS option while running hot.

Alex Goligoski could get a boost when he's paired with Jakob Chychrun on Sunday night.

Chychrun is returning from an injury and will play with Goligoski in the Coyotes' second pairing against Vegas. Goligoski has 13 points in 29 games so far this season, while Chychrun proved capable of producing offense as a rookie season with 20 points in 68 games.

Alex Goligoski found the back of the net in Tuesday's 4-1 loss to the Winnipeg Jets.

The Coyotes were down 4-0 when Goligoski got them on the board at the 5:21 mark of the first period. Tobias Rieder registered the only assist on Goligoski's second goal of the season. Goligoski now has two goals and seven assists in 20 games this season. He's worth an add in deeper fantasy leagues.

Alex Goligoski is listed as questionable for Saturday's game against Winnipeg.

He sustained a lower-body injury in Thursday's game against the Blues and did not practice on Friday. Consider Goligoski day-to-day for now.

Alex Goligoski scored the game-winning goal in Monday's 4-3 overtime win over the Philadelphia Flyers.

The Coyotes are officially in the win column in 2017-18, but it wasn't easy. They were 3-0 early in the third period when they allowed the Flyers to score three goals in a row before the end of regulation. Goligoski salvaged the night with his game-winner with less than 15 seconds remaining in the overtime period. The 'Yotes defender also added a primary assist on Brendan Perlini's second goal of the season. Goligoski has one goal and six assists in 12 games in 2017-18. Arizona is now 1-10-1 this season.
Mon, Oct 30, 2017 10:23:00 PM

Alex Goligoski registered three assists in the Coyotes' 5-4 loss against Anaheim on Thursday.

One of Goligoski's three points came with the man advantage. He's recorded between 36 and 37 points in each of his previous three campaigns and is a fair bet to finish in the high 30s again.
