Oct 7 - 11:23 AM

Tyler Kennedy has a lot to prove to the San Jose Sharks after a terrible 2013-14 season.

Kennedy is headed into the second season of a two-year/$4.7 million contract he signed after six years in Pittsburgh where he was always in double digits in goals, save for the lockout season of 2013, including a 21 goal effort in 2010-11. But he only had four goals and 17 points in 67 games last season, with a team-worst minus-10 rating. He has no where to go but up, but since he was a healthy scratch for all seven playoff games against the Kings, that is also an option for the Sharks.
