Islanders coach Doug Weight said that Cal Clutterbuck (lower body) will not return to the lineup until he is 100 percent.
Clutterbuck has been hurt twice in the last month and while he has practiced with the team of late, he isn't getting back into the lineup. "If it’s 85 percent, whatever, he’s not going to play," Weight said. "If he tells me 100 tomorrow, he’s going to play. But 90 is not cutting it when you’re talking about a recurring injury. Right now I’d say he wouldn’t play tomorrow, but we’ll see. When he can play, he’s in. He’s a core guy on our team. But once it’s recurred a couple times, that 100 number is what I need." Clutterbuck has three goals and 15 points in 44 games with 150 hits. Feb 19 - 8:08 AM
