Torrey Mitchell will draw into the Montreal lineup for a Sunday evening tilt with the Rangers.

Mitchell will replace Ales Hemsky in the Canadiens lineup after sitting out the first two games as a healthy scratch. Coach Claude Julien wants him to add some energy after Montreal lost 6-1 in Washington on Saturday night.

Torrey Mitchell scored a goal in Tuesday's 2-1 loss to the New York Rangers.

Mitchell and teammate Shea Weber entered the offensive zone on an odd-man rush before Mitchell buried one-timer by Henrik Lundqvist to tie the game at one. The goal was his first of the postseason. The series now shifts back to Montreal tied at 2-2. Game 5 will be played at the Bell Center on Tuesday night.

He didn't play in three games because of the flu bug. Mitchell got 13:11 of playing time against his ex-teammates in Buffalo.

He opened the scoring in a 2-1 overtime win for the Canadiens against Vancouver. Mitchell deflected a point shot by Andrei Markov to end his 39-game goal drought. He has chipped in 16 points in 67 contests.

Torrey Mitchell potted his team-leading fifth goal of the season on Wednesday night.

He gave the Canadiens a 2-0 lead against Vancouver in an eventual 3-0 victory. "I believe the second goal was important," said coach Michel Therrien. "The Mitchell line has been our most consistent since the beginning of the year and they came up with another big goal tonight. They play the right way and they compete hard."
