Cal O'Reilly will be scratched for Saturday's season finale against the Islanders.

Through 64 combined games with the Sabres and AHL Rochester, O'Reilly has posted nine goals and 35 points. Unfortunately, the 29-year-old posted just three goals and seven points with the big club.

Mar 31 - 10:51 PM

Cal O'Reilly scored his first goal of the season in a 2-1 loss to the Edmonton Oilers.

Cal O'Reilly's first goal of the season came on the same night that rookie phenom Connor McDavid scored two of his own goals. O'Reilly's goal, coming midway through the third frame, was a big one as it tied the game at 1-1 and forced overtime. O'Reilly totals one goal and two points in six games on the season.
Mar 1 - 10:57 PM

Cal O'Reilly will be scratched against the Kings on Saturday night.

The career minor leaguer has posted just 13 goals and 42 points in 118 lifetime NHL games. Considering his six goals and 28 points in 44 games with AHL Rochester this season, we wouldn't expect much value from Ryan's older brother.
Feb 27 - 8:31 PM

Cal O'Reilly will be a healthy scratch Wednesday night when Buffalo rolls into Anaheim.

Brother of Ryan, Cal, joined the Sabres for their West coast trip as a replacement. There's very little fantasy value for this O'Reilly, and highly likely to require a roster adjustment.

Feb 24 - 9:31 PM

Cal O'Reilly has been called up by Buffalo.

The older brother of Sabres leading scorer Ryan O'Reilly will join the team on their three-game road trip this week. Ryan is injured so Buffalo was in need of some reinforcements. Cal has one assist in five NHL appearances this year and he has 28 points over 44 games with AHL Rochester.

Cal O'Reilly has been returned to AHL Rochester.

Cal O'Reilly will make his Buffalo Sabres debut Tuesday night against New Jersey.

Cal O'Reilly, Tim Schaller, and Mike Weber will each sit out of Sunday's match with Edmonton.

Unfortunately, there isn't much fantasy value to speak of here. Weber is still working his way back from injury, while Schaller has seen just six games for the Sabres this season. O'Reilly, who is Ryan's brother, is also a career minor leaguer.

The Sabres have recalled Cal O'Reilly from Rochester of the AHL.

We are not sure if there is an injury amongst the Buffalo forward ranks that prompted this move but O'Reilly will be available for Sunday's game against the Oilers. O'Reilly has been hot recently with eight points in the Amerks' last six games. However that doesn't mean you should jump to pick him up. O'Reilly is just a roster filler from a fantasy perspective.

Cal O'Reilly has signed a two-year deal with the Buffalo Sabres for $700,000 per season.

He'll join his younger brother Ryan in the Queen City. O'Reilly was waived by the Canucks before the start of the 2014 season and had 10 goals and 61 points in 76 games with Utica of the AHL. Look for O'Reilly to be a bottom six forward for the Sabres if he can crack the lineup.
