Mark Fistric has been placed on waivers.

He has dressed in nine games with Anaheim this season, but he hasn't played since Dec. 22.

Defenseman Mark Fistric will be a healthy scratch again Wednesday night against the Maple Leafs.

December 9th was the last game Fistric participated in and it's safe to say, he shouldn't be owned in any fantasy leagues. He's played in nine games in the 2014-2015 season and has yet to record a single point.

Mark Fistric will join Dany Heatley in the stansd for Friday night's tilt in Ottawa.

Fistric hasn't seen much time this season, just seven games and we're nearly upon Christmas. Needless to say, he has no fantasy value.

Mark Fistric will line up on the third pairing with Hampus Lindholm in place of Colby Robak on Tuesday night.

There isn't a big difference between the two for fantasy purposes, but if you need someone to nab you a couple of hits and blocks for one game, Fistric isn't a bad option. In six games this season he has 15 blocks and 18 hits.

Mark Fistric and Chris Wagner will sit against Edmonton on Friday night.

With no points and four penalty minutes in seven combined games, neither holds much fantasy value.

Mark Fistric is projected to be in the lineup for the Ducks Wednesday night against the Oilers.

Fistric last dressed on December 5th for the Ducks but appears to be inserted into the lineup again Wednesday against Edmonton. Fistric is a shot-blocking machine but rarely racks up the points. He's played in only four games on the year and has yet to record a point. Colby Robak skated with the extras in practice today so it appears he will be the odd man out for the Ducks on defense. Chris Wagner will be the other scratch for the Ducks.

Mark Fistric played for the first time in 17 games Friday after returning from an injured back.

Fistric was a force as he led the Ducks with five blocked shots and tied Josh Manson with four hits. He is not much of a scorer but the defensive defenseman is solid back on the blueline.

Mark Fistric returned to practice on Saturday for the first time since injuring his back on October 30.

It was a recurrence of an old injury and Fistric will have to deal with his back issues the remainder of his career. "Every day’s a process," Fistric said. "It’s just something I have to live with. It’s just going to be part of my career. Something that’s manageable but has to be paid attention to at all times." He made it through the first practice without a problem but there is no timetable as of yet for his return.

Mark Fistric might make his season debut soon.

Fistric has been scratched in all six of Anaheim's games thus far, but Ducks coach Bruce Boudreau wants to give him some playing time. Fistric is a depth defenseman, so he's not worth owning in standard leagues.
