The Buffalo Sabres have loaned Colin Stuart (lower body) to AHL Rochester.

Stuart hasn't played since Dec. 17 due to a lower body injury. He might spend the rest of the season in the minors.

Colin Stuart is out at least a month with a lower-body injury.

The Sabres didn’t disclose Stuart’s injury, but coach Lindy Ruff said, "We lost him for a good period of time. He’s probably in the month range or something like that." At the age of 29, he should be regarded as a depth forward with little fantasy value.

Colin Stuart has been called up from AHL Rochester.

This is probably in response to Jochen Hecht and Corey Tropp suffering injuries on Friday. Stuart has eight goals and 17 points in 24 AHL games this season. At the age of 29 he should be regarded as a depth forward.

Buffalo has agreed to a one-year deal with defenseman Colin Stuart.

He put up 16 goals and 44 points in 72 games with AHL Portland last season and skated in three contests with the Sabres last season.

Colin Stuart has been sent back down to the minors by Buffalo.

In three games with the Sabres, he did not have a point and totaled five shot on goal with a plus-1 plus-minus rating. It appears as though Drew Stafford is ready to return to the lineup after being sidelined with a shoulder injury.

Colin Stuart made his Buffalo debut on Wednesday night against Pittsburgh.

He had been projected to play on the team's third line, but spent a good portion of the night with top guns Derek Roy and Thomas Vanek. "I was fortunate to play with some good linemates," Stuart said. "All I wanted to do was bring some energy, try to win pucks down low. Unfortunately, I didn't finish on a couple of those chances." He concluded the game with three shots and two penalty minutes in 15:41 of ice time

Stuart was recently called up after recording 16 points in 18 games with AHL Portland this season. He'll probably skate on a line with Paul Gaustad and Mike Grier on Wednesday.

Colin Stuart has been assigned to the minors by Buffalo.

Joining him on the team's recent list of cuts were forwards Jacob Lagace, Maxime Legault, Dennis McCauley, Brian Roloff, Felix Schutz, Corey Tropp, Travis Turnbull and Derek Whitmore along with defensemen Alex Biega, Tim Conboy and Nick Crawford. Stuart, Conboy and Whitmore need to clear waivers before reporting to Portland in the AHL. Buffalo also returned Marcus Foligno(Sudbury - OHL) and defenseman Brayden McNabb (Kootenay - WHL) to their respective junior clubs.

Colin Stuart has signed a one-year, two-way deal with the Buffalo Sabres.

He will earn $550,000 in the NHL and $75,000 in the AHL. Stuart spent the 2009-10 campaign in the minors with Calgary's affiliate in Abbortsford. He scored 17 goals and 36 points in 67 contests. Stuart is likely ticketed for the AHL with the Sabres as well, but he may see some action in the NHL as a depth forward.

The Calgary Flames have sent Colin Stuart to Abbotsford of the AHL.

Stuart played 33 games with Atlanta last season, scoring five times and assisting on three others. He should see some action in Calgary this season.

Colin Stuart was dealt to Calgary on Monday.

Stuart was acquired by Toronto in the Pavel Kubina trade with Atlanta, but has now been flipped to the Flames in a deal that sent Wayne Primeau to Toronto. Stuart collected five goals and eight points in 33 games last season with the Thrashers.

The Leafs acquired Colin Stuart in a trade on Wednesday.

Stuart was part of the deal, along with Garnet Exelby, that came to Toronto in exchange for Pavel Kubina and Tim Stapleton. Stuart had five goals and eight points in 33 games last season and will be a depth forward at best going forward.
