Jordan Hendry has been sent down to the minors.

Hendry has 11 points and 61 penalty minutes in 59 AHL games this season. At the age of 29, he should be regarded as an organizational depth defenseman.

Anaheim Ducks recall Jordan Hendry from AHL Norfolk.

Hendry returns to the Ducks only five days after being sent back to Norfolk. Hendry is just a depth defenseman and isn't worth owning.

The Anaheim Ducks have sent Jordan Hendry to Norfolk of the AHL.

Hendry played in only two games for Anaheim this season, most recently on Wednesday when he replaced the flu-ridden Toni Lydman in the lineup. Lydman is now healthy so Hendry was sent back down. He is a depth defenseman at best and really should not be owned in fantasy pools.

Jordan Hendry has been called up by the Anaheim Ducks.

Hendry filled in for Toni Lydman, who was dealing with the flu. Hendry logged 16:45 minutes and blocked one shot.

The Ducks have demoted Jordan Hendry to the Norfolk Admirals of the AHL.

Hendry only managed to crack the Ducks lineup once this season so the team felt the offensive Sami Vatanen was the better fit going forward. Hendry shouldn't be on your fantasy radar anyway.

Jordan Hendry has been placed on waivers by the Anaheim Ducks.

Hendry had four points and 31 penalty minutes in 29 AHL games in 2012-13. He signed a two-way deal with the Ducks in July.

Jordan Hendry cleared waivers on Saturday and has been assigned to AHL Norfolk.

He signed with the Ducks back in July after playing the 2011-12 campaign with the Houston Aeros in the AHL and with HC Lugano of the Swiss National League A.

The Anaheim Ducks signed defenseman Jordan Hendry to one-year, two-way contract.

Hendry most recently played with the AHL's Houston Aeros. He had spent a solid chunk of four seasons with the Chicago Blackhawks, most recently appearing in 37 games in 2010-11. If nothing else, he gives the Ducks a borderline NHL guy to stick in the lineup if injuries mount.

The Houston Aeros of the AHL have signed Jordan Hendry to a contract.

Hendry was in camp with the parent Minnesota Wild on a professional tryout but was released on Friday. He had a poor season in Chicago last year and ended it by suffering a torn ACL in late February.

Jordan Hendry has accepted a tryout with the Minnesota Wild.

Hendry is coming off a poor season with Chicago, ultimately suffering a torn ACL. The Wild could be a good fit for Hendry to revive his career. If he can make the squad he will likely be a bottom six d-man or injury fill-in.

Jordan Hendry, who is eligible to become an unrestricted free agent on July 1, is working on rehabbing his torn ACL.

Hendry suffered the injury at the end of February and the initial prognosis was a six month rehab, which would make him ready to return in time for training camp. "I'm just focused on rehab right now," Hendry said. "Everything will take care of itself. I'm just worried about getting healthy and being ready for the next step." It obviously remains to be seen where he will end up next season so stay tuned.

Jordan Hendry is out for six months with a torn ACL.

Obviously, Hendry is done for the remainder of the season, but he should be fine for training camp. Hendry had a goal and four penalty minutes in 37 games in 2010-11.

Jordan Hendry suffered an apparent leg injury in the Blackhawks' 4-3 in over Phoenix on Sunday.

Details of the injury haven't been revealed, but we'll pass along any information once it becomes available.

Jordan Hendry will return to the blueline after playing his last seven games at forward.

Hendry was also a healthy scratch in that stretch so he has not been on the blueline in an NHL game since November 6. Defenseman Nick Boynton has been struggling of late so coach Joel Quenneville will return Hendry to his natural position. "Whether he's played short stretches or playing regularly, he [has] that ability to jump in a game, and all of sudden it looks like he hasn't missed a beat, whether he's playing defense or forward," Quenneville said. "His quickness and his anticipation is something that we can use. We're looking forward to getting him back on the back end and letting him play a bit." That being said, Hendry has no fantasy value.
