Andrew Bodnarchuk has agreed to a two-year deal with Dallas.

Bodnarchuk had no goals and four points in 37 games with Columbus and Colorado in 2015-16. Although he might end up playing for Dallas next season, it wouldn't be surprising if he ends up spending the campaign in the minors.

Andrew Bodnarchuk will be a healthy scratch in Thursday's game against the Philadelphia Flyers.

Andrew Bodnarchuk will be scratched against the Jets on Saturday night.

Through 18 games this season with Colorado, Bodnarchuk has posted two points, 17 blocks, and 21 hits. So not much fantasy value there unfortunately.

Andrew Bodnarchuk will tag in for Zach Redmond for Saturday's match with Dallas

Unfortunately there isn't a lick of fatnasy value between either defender. As Redmond has barely struck the stat sheet through 25 games, and this will be only Bodnarchuk's fifth game with Colorado (21st overall).
Jan 23 - 7:17 PM

Andrew Bodnarchuk has seen his role increase since the Avalanche lost Erik Johnson to a lower-body injury.

Bodnarchuk has been getting top pairing minutes in even strength, although he isn't used with the man advantage or to kill penalties, so his overall minutes per game remains unimpressive. Still, this is a nice opportunity for Bodnarchuk, who less than a week ago was placed on waivers by Columbus and claimed by the Avalanche. The 27-year-old is trying to demonstrate that he can be a regular at the NHL level despite playing in just five NHL contests prior to 2015-16.

Jan 10 - 9:56 AM

Andrew Bodnarchuk made his Colorado debut Wednesday night versus St. Louis.

He was paired with Francois Beauchemin during even strength situations after he was claimed off waivers from Columbus on Tuesday. "I was very happy," coach Patrick Roy said. "I like his speed. He's very fast, he's moving, he's up and back, and I think his speed's going to be a good asset for our team." Bodnarchuk was dropped right into the lineup because of Erik Johnson's injury.

Andrew Bodnarchuk will see his first NHL action since the 2009-10 season on Sunday against the Sharks.

The 27-year-old Bodnarchuk will pair with Dalton Prout to form Columbus' third defensive unit. He's put up quality numbers in the AHL over the years, but the 2006 draft pick hasn't been able to translate his production levels to the big leagues so don't expect much of him.

With Cody Goloubef and Fedor Tyutin being injured in Friday's win over Nashville, the Jackets needed another healthy body. The 27-year-old's only taste of NHL experience came in a five-game stint with the Bruins in 2009-10.
