James Reimer made 15 saves before being pulled in the second period of the Maple Leafs’ 5-3 loss to Ottawa on Saturday night.

Reimer gave up three goals in another dismal performance. He has a 3.29 goals-against average and .902 save percentage this season. In relief, Jonathan Bernier stopped 21 of 22, in 36:25. Saddled with the loss, Bernier has a 2.88 goals-against average and .912 save percentage this season.

James Reimer will start in goal for Toronto against Ottawa Saturday night.

He has a tremendous career mark of 10-3, with a .937 save percentage and a 2.19 goals against average against the Senators. He's going to need all the positives he can get if he is going to pull out a win over the surging Sens.
Mar 21 - 12:27 PM

James Reimer wants to stay in Toronto through the team's rebuild.

"I love the city, I love the franchise. It was always my dream to be here," he said. "Rebuild sounds like it has a negative connotation. But there's been a couple of rebuilds already and they weren't necessarily negative experiences, know what I mean? We'll see what transpires in the summer, though. I'm sure some things will happen." The Leafs could be active in the off-season and Jonathan Bernier's name has come up in trade rumors along with Reimer's.
Mar 18 - 12:00 PM

James Reimer allowed one goal on 28 shots in Monday's 4-1 loss to Edmonton.

He entered the game in the first period after starter Jonathan Bernier allowed three goals on four shots. Reimer gave up a goal to Anton Lander just over two minutes after he entered the game, but he settled down nicely after that. The 27-year-old has posted some ugly numbers this season, but he wasn't tagged with the loss tonight.
Mar 17 - 12:57 AM

James Reimer allowed six goals on 28 shots in Friday's 6-3 blowout loss to Calgary.

Reimer allowed four goals on 14 shots in the first period and two goals on six shots in the second. The 26-year-old has now lost 12 of his last 13 decisions and we have to wonder if his time in Toronto will come to an end sooner than later. Reimer is now 7-15-0 with a 3.30 goals-against-average and a .901 save percentage in 28 games this season. Expect Reimer to find a new home when the Leafs blow up their roster during the off-season. Only Buffalo, Edmonton, Arizona and Carolina are lower in the standings than Toronto. The Leafs are 2-5-1 in their last eight games.
Mar 14 - 12:09 AM

James Reimer will get the start against the Calgary Flames on Friday night.

Tonight will be Reimer's 22nd start and 28th appearance of the season, and he holds a 7-14-0 record with a .905 save percentage and a 3.18 GAA. He also owns 11 Quality Starts against four Really Bad Starts. Reimer allowed two goals on 32 shots for the win in his only career start over Calgary back in 2011.
Mar 13 - 6:08 PM

James Reimer allowed three goals in on 31 shots in Sunday's 4-0 loss to Washington.

Jonathan Bernier was blanked 4-0 by Montreal on Saturday and now Reimer suffered the same loss to the Capitals. Reimer has now lost 11 of his last 12 decisions dating back to December 21st. The 26-year-old's record now falls to 7-14-0 with a 3.14 goals-against-average and a .906 save percentage. There is an outside chance that Reimer could be traded by Monday's trade deadline.
Mar 1 - 10:01 PM

James Reimer will get the start vs. Washington on Sunday.

Jonathan Bernier got the start in Montreal last night and lost so the Leafs will turn to Reimer tonight. The 26-year-old has a 7-13-0 record with a 3.15 goals-against-average and a .906 save percentage. He has just one win since mid-December.
Mar 1 - 5:21 PM

James Reimer stopped 24 of 26 shots in Friday's 2-1 loss to Carolina.

Reimer allowed both goals in the first period, but he was perfect in the last 40 minutes. The Leafs are in the middle of a horrific stretch that has seen them lose 16 of their last 17 games and 14 in a row on the road. Reimer has recorded just one win since December 21st (against Edmonton). He has a 7-13-0 record with a 3.15 goals-against-average and a .906 save percentage. You'll probably want to steer clear of Toronto's crease if you're looking for a starting goaltender in your fantasy league.
Feb 20 - 10:03 PM

James Reimer will be between the pipes for Toronto on Friday against Carolina.

The Leafs host Winnipeg on Saturday, so Jonathan Bernier will probably be in goal for that game. Reimer has a 7-12-0 record with a .905 save percentage and a 3.20 goals-against average this season.
Feb 20 - 3:54 PM

James Reimer was beaten five times on 39 shots in a 5-4 loss to the Rangers Tuesday night.

Reimer was awarded a second consecutive starting assignment after he was between the pipes when the Maple Leafs snapped an 11-game losing streak Saturday, but after this performance it's almost certain that Jonathan Bernier will get the nod in the team's next game.
Feb 10 - 11:10 PM

James Reimer will get the nod for Toronto on Tuesday against the New York Rangers.

He made 31 stops in a 5-1 win over Edmonton on Saturday to end the Leafs' losing streak. Reimer lost his shutout with just 2.3 seconds left in the match. Jonathan Bernier is ready to return from an illness, but Reimer is being rewarded for a solid showing.
Feb 9 - 2:01 PM

James Reimer made 31 saves in the Maple Leafs’ 5-1 win over the Oilers on Saturday night.

This was not as easy a win as you’d assume when looking at the final score. Reimer was tested throughout, and the Oilers actually closed the possession gap in the third period with Toronto holding a big advantage. Reimer has a 3.11 goals-against average and .907 save percentage this season.
Feb 7 - 10:36 PM

James Reimer is between the pipes for the Leafs against the Oilers on Saturday night.

Jonathan Bernier is sick, prompting the recall of 20-year-old Antoine Bibeau, who will serve as the backup. Reimer has a 3.22 goals-against average and .904 save percentage this season.
