Feb 13 - 6:15 PM

James Reimer made 18 saves on 22 shots in a 4-1 loss to Calgary on Tuesday.

It wasn't an overly impressive start but you can't expect much from the Maple Leafs team after the bombshell of a trade earlier on Tuesday. It hurts for Reimer even more though because he was pulled in his last start. You can't trust either Leafs goalie right now. Reimer has a nice .926 save percentage but his GAA has slipped to 2.82 in 28 games.
Feb 10 - 2:58 AM

James Reimer will be back in goal for Toronto on Tuesday night against Calgary.

He was pulled in Saturday's match against Ottawa after he allowed three goals on eight shots in just 7:38 of ice time. Still, Reimer has played well this season and he will look to bounce back versus the Flames.
Feb 8 - 5:41 PM

James Reimer had a short night, giving up three goals on eight shots in 7:38 of the Leafs’ 6-1 loss to the Senators on Saturday.

Woof. Reimer gave up goals to Zack Smith, Mika Zibanejad and Bobby Ryan before his night was done. Jonathan Bernier was better, but that’s not saying much, stopping 14 of 17 shots against. Reimer has a 2.23 GAA and .929 SV%, while Bernier is at 3.05 and .900, respectively.
Feb 6 - 10:17 PM

James Reimer will face Ottawa on Saturday night.

Yes, the Maple Leafs aren't very good. But also yes, Reimer has been excellent in net this season through 22 starts and 26 games. He's posted a remarkable 2.12 GAA and .932 save percentage, which includes a .948 even strength save percentage.
Feb 6 - 6:00 PM

James Reimer made 32 saves and then a few more in the shootout to help the Leafs claim a 3-2 victory over New Jersey on Thursday night.

The resurgent 27-year-old is now 10-8-6 this season with a 2.12 goals against average and .932 save percentage this season. His fantasy value would be higher if he were healthy all season and playing on a better team, nonetheless, Optimus Reim is a solid option in goal.
Feb 5 - 12:17 AM

James Reimer will be Toronto's starting goaltender on Thursday.

Reimer is coming off of a 39-save 4-3 victory over Boston on Tuesday. He has a 2.14 GAA and .932 save percentage in 25 games this season.
Feb 3 - 1:49 PM

James Reimer turned aside 39 of 42 shots in a 4-3 overtime victory over the Boston Bruins.

Feb 2 - 10:46 PM

James Reimer will start Tuesday's game against Boston.

Feb 1 - 4:02 PM

James Reimer allowed five goals on 27 shots in Tuesday's 5-1 loss to the Florida Panthers.

Reimer got off to a hot start in 2015-16, but he's been struggling of late. The 27-year-old has just one win in his last 10 decisions dating back to November 21. Reimer has an 8-8-6 record with a 2.10 goals-against-average and a .932 save percentage this season.
Jan 26 - 11:01 PM

James Reimer will be between the pipes on Tuesday at Florida.

Reimer's last two starts have gone beyond regulation time and he lost them both, but he stopped 67 of the 70 shots he faced. His 8-7-6 record isn't pretty, but he owns an outstanding .937 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA.
Jan 25 - 1:07 PM

James Reimer took the 3-2 shootout loss to rival Montreal on Saturday night.

It was another excellent game for Reimer, who made 27 saves and all seven asked of him on the kill. Reimer also made four saves in overtime plus three of five in the shootout. If only the Leafs had put another couple of biscuits home instead. Reimer's record drops to 8-7-6 with a .937 save percentage and a 1.97 GAA.
Jan 23 - 11:27 PM

James Reimer will start in goal Saturday against Montreal.

Reimer has been tremendous this season with a 1.98 goals against average and a .937 save percentage in 22 games. Who would have predicted that at the beginning of the season?
Jan 23 - 11:14 AM

If Darren Dreger is reading the tea leaves correctly, James Reimer will be receiving quite the contract extension from the Maple Leafs.

Per Dreger, "the collective average educated guess of a few NHL management types outside of Toronto is five to seven years at $4.5-to-$5.5 million per season." That's quite the extension, especially given Reimer will turn 28-years-old in March. He's also shown incredible mental fortitude through the mess in Toronto since 2010-11, and if you'll recall, was their goalie for all seven playoff games against Boston in 2012-13. He's certainly not a .937 save percentage-caliber goalie, no one is, but his career average is now .916 through 197 career games. Combine that with his impressive .927 career save percentage at even strength, and maybe Maple Leafs' brass is really on to something here.
