van der Gulik had three goals and seven points in three games last week. Going into the Christmas break, he had eight goals and 11 assists in 29 contests with the AHL Lake Erie Monsters.

Van der Gulik had a goal and six points in 25 games with the Avalanche last season. He isn't expected to have any fantasy value in 2012-13.

If the center passes through waivers, which seems likely, he will be sent to the Lake Erie Monsters of the AHL.

David Van der Gulik will be back in Colorado's lineup on Wednesday after missing Monday's game to attend the birth of his first child.

He will take Evan Brophey's spot among the team's forwards. Van der Gulik has one assist in two games with the Avalanche this year.

Colorado has brought up David Van der Gulik from the minors.

The 28-year-old winger leads AHL Lake Erie in scoring this season with six goals and 19 points in 21 games. He appeared in six games with the Avalanche last year, whille producing a goal and two assists.

Van der Gulik was called up for Saturday's game against Nashville. He registered an assist and logged 10:38 minutes of ice time in that contest.

David Van der Gulik was called up from the minors on Saturday March 12.

Van der Gulik played 10:38 minutes and picked up an assist in the 4-2 loss to the Predators. He was recalled due to injuries to Paul Stastny and Milan Hejduk on Friday. The Avs are reeling as they have lost 18 of their last 19 games so Van der Gulik could stay up with the big club if the injuries continue to mount. His stats aren't too bad as he has a goal and three points with a plus-four rating in six games with Colorado this season.

Van Der Gulik was sidelined for over a month with a knee injury and then forced to serve as a healthy scratch on Monday. The Avalanche currently don't have a regular spot for them on their lineup, so he'll goto the AHL where he can get more ice time.

David Van der Gulik was a healthy scratch on Monday after spending over a month on the sidelines.

Van der Gulik has been cleared to return to Colorado's lineup after tearing knee ligaments on November 9th. He participated in the Avalanche's pregame warm-up, but they ultimately decided to play David Koci instead of him.

David Van der Gulik sustained a torn MCL on Tuesday night against the Flames.

He played just 3:46 in Colorado's 4-2 loss to Calgary before leaving the game. Van der Gulik has no fantasy value, but the Avalanche can't seem to catch a break in the health department this season.
